(Hawaii Gas - Customer Service - Hawaii County) Hawaii Gas provides propane and synthetic natural gas service and installation to utility, tank, and bottled gas customers on all islands. Must be an authorized account holder to access customer information. (Hawaii County Third Circuit Keahuolū Courthouse Self Help Center) The Kona Court Self-Help Center will provide legal help to the West Hawaii community on a pilot basis. Volunteer attorneys from the West Hawaii Bar Association will provide limited legal information by telephone in areas such as landlord-tenant, family, and other district court matters.

HI-EMA provides community education on hazard awareness, and disaster preparedness, and conducts professional training programs.

Disability and Communication Access Board reviews and assesses the problems, needs, services and resources in the State of Hawaii including, but not limited to, employment, education, social services, civil rights, public facilities, housing, vocational training, rehabilitation and recreation. The board publishes educational materials, sponsors workshops and provides technical assistance to industries/agencies, conducts research studies, advises State and County agencies on issues related to persons with disabilities, and conducts testing of sign language interpreters and issues state credential based on test results. The board administers the statewide program for parking for persons with disabilities. They serve as the designated state agency to coordinate state ADA compliance for access to services, employment, telecommunications, and facility and site design, establishes state guidelines for communication access services for persons with disabilities, establishes state guidelines for parking for persons with disabilities, and maintains a statewide database for parking placard. (The Emergency Food Assistance Program, TEFAP) Offers emergency food assistance (canned goods, dry goods, water, clothing, toiletries and miscellaneous items) upon product availability. For November and December 2025 on the days before and after the holidays the pantry will be closed.

Regulates the manufacture, importation, sale and consumption of intoxicating liquors. Oversees liquor license applications. Hears and determines all complaints regarding violations of the liquor control laws of the state, or complaints regarding violations of rules and regulations established by the Liquor Commission. Imposes fines or punishment as may be provided by law. Adopts rules and regulations which have the effect of laws in the county. Enforces the provisions of the liquor laws. Grants, renews or refuses applications for liquor licenses. After an establishment has a liquor license, Commission investigators make periodic checks at the establishment. (Temporary Disability Insurance, TDI, Temporary Disability Compensation and Workers Comp) Enforces labor laws relating to workers compensation (wage replacement benefits, medical or hospital care for work-related illness or injury), temporary disability insurance (wage replacement benefits for non-work-related illness or injury), and prepaid health care (medical or hospital care for non-work-related illness or injury).
