(HEFAP, Hawaii Emergency Food Benefit, HEFB) The Hawaii Emergency Food Assistance Program (HEFAP) is a new state-sponsored food benefit that is separate from the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) benefit. HEFAP will provide a benefit of $250 per person in a household. The HEFAP will be restricted to purchase food and groceries at retail locations that accept Electronic Benefit Transfer (EBT) cards. (Lanakila Meals on Wheels) Lanakila Meals on Wheels is Oahu's largest and only island-wide home delivery meal service program for seniors and people with disabilities, serving over approximately 200,000 meals each year. Provides frozen meals once a week delivered right to your front door. Someone must be home to accept deliveries usually Monday-Friday 8:30 am - 1:00 pm. Please inquire about fresh produce home delivery. You may be eligible through the City and County Aging and Disability Resource Center or your health insurance provider for free meal service. Private pay via credit/debit card, online pay, check or SNAP EBT card available.

Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

(Alzheimers Association - Hawaii) Care services for family caregivers and persons living with Alzheimer's disease include educational workshops and classes, care consultations and supportive counseling, neighborhood support groups, and information and referral services to community resources. Offers a 24-hour Helpline, 1-800-272-3900, and the MedicAlert+Safe Return™ program to help reunite wanderers with their caregivers. Creates public awareness about Alzheimer's disease, conducts advocacy efforts at the local and national level, and supports research efforts to find a cure or prevention for Alzheimer's disease.

The National Human Trafficking Hotline is a national, toll-free hotline, available to answer calls from anywhere in the country, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. The Hotline is a program of Polaris, a non-profit, non-governmental organization working exclusively on the issue of human trafficking. We are not a government entity, law enforcement or an immigration authority.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include gym with weight room and gymnastics room, meeting room building, arts and crafts building, six tennis courts, play apparatus, three softball fields, a baseball field, two outdoor basketball courts and an outdoor volleyball court. (Maui Economic Opportunity Youth Bank, MEO Youth Bank) The MEO YOUTH SERVICES offers an After-School/Out of School Positive Youth Development Programming service. The programming activities allows youths in the 6th grade through high school age (up to 18 years old) to acquire the attitudes, competencies, values, and social skills that is necessary to carry them forward to successful adulthood. MEO Youth Services also assists the youths/young adults with skills to avoid choices and behaviors that will limit their future potential. The program focuses on Life & Career Skills development through culturally based, outdoor experiential activities, and meaningful Service Learning opportunities.
