Angel Flight West is a nonprofit, volunteer-driven organization that arranges free, non-emergency air travel for children and adults with serious medical conditions and other compelling needs. Our network of 1,500+ pilots, as well as commercial airline partners, throughout the 13 western states donate their aircraft, piloting skills, and all flying costs to help families in need, enabling them to receive vital treatment that might otherwise be inaccessible because of financial, medical, or geographic limitations. Ambulatory patients needing medical transportation to the 13 Western States; Alaska, Arizona, California, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington and Wyoming may be eligible. This includes inter-island transportation as well.

(DHS Return to Homeland Program) Assists eligible Hawaii resident aliens and naturalized citizens in returning to their homelands outside of the United States. Prevents and suppresses outbreaks of vector-borne diseases and serious vector nuisances through inspections, surveillance, monitoring, enforcement, consultation and education in the control of harmful vermin such as insects that bite or are a public nuisance such as ants, sand flies, and other insects. Also gives public advice on small animals and insects causing a problem in or near a home or building such as mice, roaches, flies, gnats, mites, rats, and nesting birds. Offers information and advice to individuals experiencing pest problems. Accepts birds that the public drops off for West Nile testing. They no longer spray for mosquitos.

Provides information to people with disabilities, or anyone requesting information, by doing research and providing documents in response to inquiries. Information provided includes areas of federal funding for disability-related programs. Trained to serve as experts in referring requests to other sources of disability-related information, if necessary.

(PATCH POD Program) The Preschool Open Doors (POD) program provides families with low and moderate incomes subsidies to send their children to preschool for up to two years prior to entering kindergarten.

Reducing harm, promoting health, creating wellness, and fighting stigma in Hawai'i and the Pacific. The Hawai'i Health & Harm Reduction Center serves Hawai'i communities by reducing the harm and fighting the stigma of HIV, hepatitis, homelessness, substance use, mental illness, and poverty in our community. We focus our efforts on those disproportionately affected by social determinants of health, including but not limited to: people living with and/or affected by HIV, hepatitis, substance use, and the transgender, LGBQ and the Native Hawaiian communities. We foster health, wellness, and systemic change in Hawai'i and the Pacific through care services, advocacy, training, prevention, education, and capacity building.

(Sex Abuse Treatment Services) Provides comprehensive services for families and individuals who have experienced sexual abuse within the family. Services are provided to child and adult victims, non-offending partners, alleged juvenile and adult offenders, and siblings. Treatment is provided through individual, dyad, family therapy and an extensive group program. The various components of the program are designed to reinforce each other for more comprehensive treatment. Provides group counseling, individual counseling, mother-daughter counseling, couples counseling, and family counseling services for victims of incest, their siblings, non-offending parents, and offenders.

Provides home gardening information, workshops and classes.

Maintains State Archives, responsible for capital-improvement projects, and monitors King Kamehameha Day celebration and State Foundation on Culture and the Arts programs. Also handles complaints for misuse of state vehicles.

Hawaii Rx Card is a FREE prescription assistance program that is available to all citizens of Hawaii. The program was launched to help the uninsured, but it can also be used to discount drugs not covered by health insurance. There are no applications, fees, resrtictions, or eligibility requirements. The Hawaii Rx Card is accepted at all chain pharmacies. No personal information is required to get the card; no personal information is collected on processed prescriptions. Provides services and information relating to elections, voting, and voter registration. (Feed the Hunger Fund) Feed The Hunger Fund provides micro loans and networks of support. Feed The Hunger Fund provides loans to low income and underserved individuals with businesses in the food system and directly and in partnership with local organizations. We identify and partner with organizations that are already working with our target populations to add value to the organization's ability to help their community, to ensure that our borrowers have other support services to increase their success, and to build a network that addresses the community's fiscal and physical health. We create or identifies existing Food Hub Networks to ensure that our borrowers are linked into a food system of production - distribution points that ensure their sustainability and to promote a community's food security and economic vitality. Feed The Hunger Foundation makes loans to borrowers who have businesses anywhere within the food system.
