The Consulate General of the Federated States of Micronesia provides a gamut of consular services to the people of the four States of Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei and Yap that constitute the federation residing in the State of Hawaii as its principal bailiwick. It performs many of the functions delineated in the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations and relevant international treatises in which FSM is a member, and carries out any instructions from the home government as permissible under state and local laws of the State of Hawaii. A major component of the Consulate General's work has to do with attending to the required documentations of citizens such as facilitating processing of passports, travel documents, affidavits, guardianship and power of attorney documents, among others. The Consulate General does not issue passports.

Those who need medical attention arrive at our respite homes and stay until they are fully recovered from their recent medical procedure, surgery, or other treatments. Friendly staff and medical personnel are available around the clock. Meals and other supplies necessary for their recovery journey are provided to clients. Our locations are tucked away in Makiki and Kalihi.

(Hawaii VA Foundation) Community volunteers shops for and deliver groceries, medication and necessary supplies to the kupuna's home every 2 weeks. The kupuna pays for the groceries that the volunteer delivers. The volunteer does not enter the kupuna's home. Inquire about other islands in the service area.

These items are received by the local offices by donations from others and through our TLC Catalog. (SFHV, Strong Families Home Visits) This program provides comprehensive and culturally appropriate professional and paraprofessional home visitation services to families with children ages birth to 3 years old. Program participants are referred by Child Welfare Services, Voluntary Case Management, or Family Strengthening Services programs. Service interventions reduce child abuse and neglect risks, increase family self-sufficiency, address family stressors, and improve child adjustment and achievement. Domestic Violence Services for Families offers a full spectrum of individual, group and family services to men, women and children to aid in the intervention and prevention of domestic violence in families and to strengthen child resilience and overall wellbeing. Service that are available include: -A Comprehensive Basic Assessment including a Trauma Assessment as needed -Risk Assessment -Crisis Management -Safety Planning -Development of a Comprehensive Service Plan -Individual, group and/or family counseling and support for each referred family member -Supervised visitation/exchanges and/or therapeutic visitation -Support Services and outreach which may include but are not limited to case management, resource linkages, domestic violence advocacy, temporary restraining order support, and in-home visits to educated about parenting and life skills
