Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building, outdoor volleyball, basketball, tennis courts, swimming pool, and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring, and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music and dance, seasonal activities and crafts, excursions and swimming. Basic dental hygiene and other optional procedures are rendered based on clinical and professional judgment of students and faculty. Basic procedures include oral examination and charting, scaling and polishing of teeth, and patient education. Since this part of the dental hygiene curriculum is to provide teaching-learning experiences, the Department reserves the right to select patients and the type of procedures to be rendered; and to refuse individuals who do not meet the teaching criteria. It should be emphasized that full dental service is not available and service is limited to procedures in dental hygiene.

H-HEAP primarily assists households by applying an energy assistance grant directly to the energy provider on behalf of the eligible household. Applications are accepted year-round.
