We provide disease prevention and control services, health screening, health advocacy, outreach, traditional healing, fitness and nutrition programs, tobacco cessation, health insurance application assistance, cancer navigation, primary medical care, and dental care.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include gym with weight room and gymnastics room, meeting room building, arts and crafts building, six tennis courts, play apparatus, three softball fields, a baseball field, two outdoor basketball courts and an outdoor volleyball court. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. Provides a variety of opportunities for retired and senior persons aged 55 and older to volunteer at government and private non-profit agencies within their communities. Provides the community with the talents and experience of older Americans and enriches the lives of the agencies, the clients and the volunteers. RSVP is a program of the Corporation for National Community Service - Senior Corps.

(MEO) Reviews credit reports with individuals and provides tips and resources on how to improve credit scores. The program also discusses issues affecting small business owners and helps to find solutions to problems.

Operates correctional facility for youthful offenders committed by the Family Court. Provides basic care and safe, secure custody of youths. Department of Education provides schooling and Department of Health provides mental health services. Work exposure, fee for service job training, help, and supervision to parolees are also provided.

Handles complaints for RICO concerning regulated vocations and professions. Complaints about unfair/deceptive business practices are also handled for the Office of Consumer Protection. Acts as referral agency for consumers with questions and complaints. Administers the State Certified Arbitration Program that settles lemon law disputes. The Hawaii “Lemon Law” helps consumers who buy or lease new motor vehicles and have repeated problems in getting their vehicles repaired under the manufacturer’s warranty. KAMP (Kids At-Risk Mentoring Program) Hawaii focuses on disadvantaged, special needs and at-risk youth in our communities. Program reaches cooperation, communication, decision making, leadership and teamwork skills through hands on activities.

(E-Kokua Club) The Epilepsy Foundation of Hawaii (EFH) offers a free membership to the E-Kokua Club to children, teens, adults, and caregivers. Through monthly cultural healing activities (hula, lei-making, ukulele, art therapy), peer support groups, and seizure first aid education, the E-Kokua Club provides a welcoming, stigma-free community where families can learn, connect, and thrive. In addition, EFH is the local manager of the National Epilepsy Helpline for Hawaii. (Kauai Teen Court) Teen Court is a collaborative effort between the Kauai Police Department (KPD), Prosecutor, County of Kauai, Family Court Fifth Circuit, Hale 'Opio Kaua'i, Inc, and youth serving public and private sector agencies to provide a diversionary program from Family Court for first time misdemeanor or status offending youth between the ages of 10 and 18. Juveniles who have admitted guilt and are prepared to be sentenced by their peers will be given a hearing. Teen Court judges selected from a pool of practicing judges, attorneys, and trained teens serve as court officers. Sentences may include referral to mediation or anger management classes, substance abuse counseling, tutoring, or to a mentor. All youth completing sentencing serve on at least three juries.

Read To Me International promotes reading aloud as a means to raising children who love and value reading. It bases its mission, "To share the love and joy of reading aloud," on research and best practices through the following activities: presentations and workshops to parents, educators, and caregivers; book fairs; biennial read-aloud conferences featuring authors and illustrators; prison literacy; programs for mothers, including one for those living in transitional housing; and special events, including reading to children in schools, preschools, and service organizations. Read To Me International Foundation is devoted to improving children's literacy. Its mission is to promote the love and joy of reading aloud to children. Read To Me educates the public about the importance of reading aloud to children through multi-media, ads, newsletters, website, presentations for parents at schools and preschools, social media and public service announcements.
