(Our Lady of Kea'au Spiritual Retreat Center) This is a retreat center located along 58 acres of the Waianae Coast, available to nonprofits for community and business meetings, conferences, and celebrations. Guests have access to furnished cabins, an outdoor kitchen, dining facilities, tennis courts, a swimming pool and open fields. As an extension of service to the community, Our Lady of Kea`au also prepares and serves meals for the homeless in the Waianae area. It also maintains a Christian homeless tent community on the premises.

(LISS) Parents And Children Together (PACT) provides families in need on Lanai a number of services including comprehensive counseling and support services, voluntary case management, family strengthening services, foster care and adoption support, and supervised visitation. Food donations are accepted at Hale Kau Kau. Hale Kau Kau program serves dinner meals on-site to those who do not have the resources for basic food. Hale Kau Kau delivers dinner meals every day to homebound persons (seniors, people with disabilities, etc.)

Akaku Maui Community Media manages the community access television station, offers production training, and provides production services to non-profit agencies. We will list non-profit events and announcements on the Video Bulletin Board. (Act 278) Kuikahi Mediation Center has been contracted to administer the Eviction Mediation Pilot Program. This two-year pilot program requires early and free mediation between landlords and tenants before eviction for nonpayment of rent. The program runs February 5, 2026 - February 4, 2028. Tenants have 10 calendar days to respond to an eviction notice. If a tenant requests mediation in 10 day notice period, then the landlord must participate before filing for eviction. Mediation sessions are online via Zoom or in person, per request. For landlords, visit the website for more information and to submit a Landlord Intake Form to start the process. Has exclusive jurisdiction in petty and criminal misdemeanors, traffic and parking violations, violations of County ordinances, violations of agency regulations, and Civil cases when the contested amount does not exceed $20,000.
