CARF accredited programs provide outpatient medication assisted and drug free treatment: methadone maintenance, suboxone (buprenorphine) and detox program, outreach, and interim services for persons addicted to opiates, pain killers, and illicit opiates in on Oahu and Hilo on Hawaii Island. In Puna on Hawaii Island, Native Hawaiian culturally based intensive outpatient and outpatient program provided. Cornerstone, located in Honolulu, provides outpatient, intensive outpatient and continuing care services. Trauma-Informed-Care environment.

Issues commercial and individual fishing licenses and permits. Researches the biology, ecology and use of fishery resources. Serves as federal liaison when protected marine animals are stranded. Species include monk seals, sea turtles, whales. Documents ocean and river water pollution incidents such as oil and chemical spills. Operates Hale Ho`ike`ike at the Bailey House and museum shop on the road to `Iao Valley. Displays ancient Hawaiian artifacts and missionary memorabilia in the 1830s home of Edward Bailey. Also on display are 17 oil paintings by Bailey dating to 1860.

Helping Hands Hawaii's Community Clearinghouse operates a warehouse providing free essential items to persons and families with low-income, people experiencing houselessness, and disaster survivors. Available items may include furniture, basic household goods, hygiene items, food, and clothing. Offers transitional shelters; Transitional shelter accepts families with minor children, whom are homeless or at risk of being homeless and teaches the skills necessary to become independent, self sufficient, and productive members of society.

The Relocation Program provides services to inbound and outbound soldiers and family members about resources that are needed to make informed decisions and to reduce problems that occur due to frequent moves. Services include relocation planning, pre-arrival information, welcome packet, newcomer's orientation, island tour and immigration informational workshops. Additionally, a lending closet is available with basic household items which are loaned at no charge to soldiers and family members in transition.
