Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, games and sports, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. (Maui Economic Opportunity Youth Bank, MEO Youth Bank) The MEO YOUTH SERVICES offers an After-School/Out of School Positive Youth Development Programming service. The programming activities allows youths in the 6th grade through high school age (up to 18 years old) to acquire the attitudes, competencies, values, and social skills that is necessary to carry them forward to successful adulthood. MEO Youth Services also assists the youths/young adults with skills to avoid choices and behaviors that will limit their future potential. The program focuses on Life & Career Skills development through culturally based, outdoor experiential activities, and meaningful Service Learning opportunities. MEO YOUTH SERVICES provides in-school prevention programs.

(H-HEAP, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program - Energy Crisis Intervention - Leahi, LIHEAP ECI, ECI) Hawaii Home Energy Assistance Program (H-HEAP) Energy Crisis Intervention (ECI) is designed to help families keep their utilities (gas or electric) on, especially those households that are most vulnerable, such as the elderly, the disabled, and households with young children. H-HEAP primarily assists households by applying an energy assistance grant directly to the energy provider on behalf of the eligible household. Applications are accepted year-round. The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box.
