The National Human Trafficking Hotline is a national, toll-free hotline, available to answer calls from anywhere in the country, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, every day of the year. The Hotline is a program of Polaris, a non-profit, non-governmental organization working exclusively on the issue of human trafficking. We are not a government entity, law enforcement or an immigration authority.

The Institute for Human Services outreach helps people in Districts 1, 4, 5, 6, and 7 at service fairs, in night outreach, and with assisted community treatment. (St Francis Hospice) Nationally accredited by The Joint Commission, St. Francis Hospice, the state’s first hospice program, provides compassionate care and comfort for terminally ill patients in their homes, in nursing homes, and at our inpatient facility in Nuuanu. We make each moment count, enhancing the quality of life for patients, and their families and friends. St. Francis Hospice also has one of the most advanced bereavement services programs, offering support groups, walks in shopping malls, and other activities for families who have lost a loved one. St. Francis Hospice provides a specially trained, interdisciplinary healthcare team that may include a medical director, nurse, social worker, chaplain, hospice aide, volunteer, and bereavement counselor. The St. Francis Hospice care team focuses on each individual patient’s needs to ensure comfort and the best quality of life for our patients and their families.

Provides services to individuals with disabilities who are seeking employment. Provides counseling and guidance, physical and mental restoration, interpreter and reader services, technological aids, occupational licenses and rehabilitation technology.

Serves as an informational resource for all EPA programs. Provides EPA materials to general public, Federal, Hawaii State and county government agencies, elected officials and environmental organizations. Conducts environmental outreach activities through Hawaii schools, community groups and environmental events. Developed teacher information packets of environmental lesson materials. Conducts speaking engagements at schools for all grade levels and the general public. Works to facilitate communication flow between Hawaii media and EPA personnel by assisting reporters in obtaining background information on news release subjects or directing the media to the proper Regional sources.

(ADLRO) The Administrative Driver’s License Revocation Office (ADLRO) is responsible for: Conducting reviews and hearings related to the administrative revocation of driving privileges of respondents arrested in violation of HRS §291E-61 or §291E-61.5 for operating a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. Issuing review and hearing decisions, and determining the period of revocation to be imposed, and related matters. Issuing ignition interlock permits and employee driver’s permits to eligible respondents whose driver’s licenses have been revoked. Maintaining a record of all reviews, hearings, and decisions, and making such data available to related agencies. (IOP) The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is an intensive psychotherapeutic program designed to treat substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Services include group therapy, individual counseling, and toxicology testing. Sessions are often done as a group. Clients go home each night, rather than living at a treatment center. Clients attend IOP groups 3-5 days per week, for a total of 9-15 hours per week.

Conducts a residential Christian program for men with alcohol/substance abuse and social adjustment problems. Program includes personal/group counseling,education, recreation, and work therapy to regain self-respect and living skills.
