(PPA) The Partnership for Prescription Assistance brings together America’s pharmaceutical companies, doctors, other health care providers, patient advocacy organizations and community groups to help qualifying patients who lack prescription coverage get the medicines they need through the public or private program that’s right for them. Friends of the Library of Hawai'i (FLH) exists to promote and support the fifty public libraries that make up the Hawai'i State Public Library System. FLH promotes literacy, education, and library services. The organization supports librarians in continuing education opportunities and offers scholarships for graduate students at the University of Hawaii interested in a library career. FLH fundraises throughout the year through a number of book sales as well as a golf tournament. Volunteers are needed for events and for year-round sorting and pricing of books and media.
