The Hawaii Internet Crime Against Childrent (ICAC) Task Force is part of a cooperative nationwide network of ICAC Task Forces that are dedicated to protecting children in the online environment. In order to accomplish this goal, our ICAC Task Force makes internet education and safety programs and information available for Hawaii's children, teachers, and parents. If prevention efforts fail, Hawaii's ICAC Task Force is ready to vigorously investigate and prosecute persons who victimize children through the use of computers and the internet.

Kahuku was the site of the first Rainbow School and has been operating continuously since 1972. We serve approximately 65 children ranging in age from 2 years to 5 years old. Our program is licensed by the State of Hawaii and all staff meet state licensing requirements. We accept DHS – Child Care Connection, Open Door, First-to-Work, Kamehameha Schools’ Keiki Pauahi Scholars Program, and Federal subsidies. All tuition payments are done through the FACTS Tuition Management program. Your child’s Form 14, current TB clearance and DHS 908 Form are required upon acceptance into the school. Parents are also responsible for a non-refundable registration fee of $175 upon acceptance. If there are no availabilities, your child’s application will be placed on the center’s waitlist. Investigates and takes enforcement action against illegal discharges into the City's storm drain system. Issues permits for various effluent discharges in to City's drainage system. (ADRC) The Aging and Disability Resource Center is the source for individuals who are aging and have disabilities to get impartial information about support and services that help them remain living at home as long as possible with dignity and quality of life. The ADRC staff members provide Options Counseling. It's a process that assists you to make informed decisions to select the long term services and support you need to age well and maintain independence. The ADRC is for people of all incomes and ages, to help you make plans that carry out your individual needs and preferences. It is also a point of access for all publically funded long term support programs and benefits. ADRC is operated by the State of Hawaii in cooperation with the four county governments.

(SHEG) A one time, not ongoing financial assistance for households who are homeless or at-risk for homelessness. Single, couples and families. Provides assistance with rent deposit, first month rent, past due rent, utilities when included with rent or if utility assistance prevents homelessness. Utility assistance for renters only. Utilities assistance to prevent the household from losing their housing or prevent homelessness.

(VLA) The VLA project focuses on disabled and elderly veterans and family members who are residents of the state of Hawaii and who want assistance with filing benefits claims with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Also offers referrals to volunteer attorneys through VLSH's pro bono program for legal advice and direct services for: Family Law, Tenant Rights, Collections and Bankruptcy, Estate Planning/Probate, Re-Employment and Community Service Program (Oahu only).

The Home Maintenance Program does home improvements in partnership with family and community volunteers. When the project is completed, there is a 1-7 year “0” interest loan. The loan payments collected go into a revolving fund used to fund future home maintenance projects. Projects include installation of ramps and rails, stair repair, fence repair, gutter replacement, solar water heaters, appliance replacement, minor electrical and plumbing, window replacement, and termite treatment.

(Four-H Youth Program - Hilo) Assists youth in acquiring knowledge and life skills, and becoming self-directed, productive and contributing members of society. Through active, experimental learning, teaches science, communication, leadership, citizenship, health, safety, and nutrition. Teaches literacy using television program, "Ghostwriters". Sponsors KAMP (Kindergartners Are Most Precious), designed to promote school readiness, success which is designed to promote school readiness and parent-child interaction, and a "Youth At Risk" educational theater project.
