Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. Also provides a therapeutic program for the visually impaired and care home providers. EPIC Ohana, Inc. transforms the culture of child welfare practice through a respectful, collaborative, solution-oriented process that protects children, strengthens families, and enhances the health of the community. Organizes and facilitates Ohana Conferences, Youth Circles, Ohana Finding and Ohana Connections.

Fights fires. Dispatches emergency ocean rescues. Responds to hazardous materials contamination and spills. Provides medical assistance as trained first responders. Conducts station house tours and fire prevention education. Administers blood pressure testing. Conducts school inspections and commercial occupancy inspections.

Hawaii Agricultural Foundation provides teacher trainings. Teacher trainings for Tower Power are now active in 24 schools statewide. The program is now expanding to Hawaii Island. Tower Power gives students a hands-on, ag-tech and vertical farming lab-based experience using indoor aeroponic towers to grow and care for plants from seed to harvest in grade 6-8 classrooms. Through four dynamic learning units, students explore plant science, sustainability, and the future of farming while discovering how vertical growing systems can transform food production. The program includes a comprehensive teacher resource manual, ready-to-use classroom materials, and monthly virtual check-ins that cover timely topics, address teacher interests, and foster collaboration and idea-sharing among educators.

(Easter Seals Hawaii Kauai Home and Community Based Services) At Easterseals Hawaii, we offer a comprehensive set of services for adults with disabilities and their families. We work to empower our clients to become more independent and participate fully in the communities where they live, work, and play. Services are delivered with dignity, passion, and the ultimate goal of self-determination. Program focus areas are enhancing independence, person-centered planning, social skills and enrichments, community integration and access, employment skills, personal care, and daily living skills. Adult Home and Community-based Services include group and individual services; employment services, Adult Day Health (ADH), Community Learning Service (CLS), Community Learning Service-Individual (CLS-I) for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities such as autism and down syndrome.

The Community Teen Program provides Out-of-school Time services (OST) for youth ages 5-18 who live in and around the public housing complex Kuhio Park Terrace in Kalihi. This programs promote the development of healthy youth with an abundance of positive experiences for youth including educational, recreational, skill building, social emotional learning, community building and support services. Opens at 1:30pm on Wednesdays during the school year. Extended hours offered during summer and school intersessions. Intake form is good for 1 year.
