The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. (Workforce Development - Kauai) Provides job training, placement, and case management services for individuals receiving TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)/VR (Vocational Rehabilitation) assistance.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building two ball fields, play apparatus, tennis courts. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. (ADLRO) The Administrative Driver’s License Revocation Office (ADLRO) is responsible for: Conducting reviews and hearings related to the administrative revocation of driving privileges of respondents arrested in violation of HRS §291E-61 or §291E-61.5 for operating a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. (Mobile Food Distribution - Kahului) Feed My Sheep provides food boxes to those in need at across from 45 West Kamehameha Avenue. This is across the street from Salvation Army Kahului.

Lanakila Teaching and Learning Centers (TLC), a program of Lanakila Pacific, assists adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities with mastering basic skills to expand their life experiences and foster a sense of independence. Focusing on each person’s individual needs, Adult Day Health programs located in Honolulu and Wahiawa offer in-house classes, community outings and recreational opportunities that can help participants build the confidence and skills needed to integrate into the community as well as engage in volunteer and pre-vocational activities. The Employment Exploration component enables participants to identify interests and explore potential integrated employment settings.

(Worklife Hawaii, CFS EMPLOYEE ASSISTANCE PROGRAM) Companies contract with WorkLife Hawai‘i for their employees to receive confidential professional counseling, education, training, crisis management, and substance abuse assessment. Companies also receive management consultation on personnel and organizational issues. Helps employees and their families covered under employee assistance contracts for problems such as stress, family conflict, financial difficulty, or drug and alcohol abuse.

A Cup of Cold Water is an outreach care van ministry of the Episcopal Churches on Maui and Community Friends delivering basic needs of water, nutrition, clothing and comfort to the neediest of Maui's people. Weekly runs are made to the homeless in Central, West and South Maui on days and times when they are not serviced by others. A Cup of Cold Water Care is an all volunteer outreach and all donations go directly to meeting the basic needs (plus a lot of comfort) of the homeless clients served. A Cup of Cold Water does not help with housing.

Girl Scouts' leadership development program builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Through leadership programs in STEM, Outdoor Experience and Financial literacy and Entrepreneurship girls learn to discover, connect and take action to fulfill their potential as leaders and to improve their communities.
