Provides support services for terminally ill patients and their families. Nurses, trained volunteers, psychologists and social workers provide physical, emotional, psychological and spiritual care. All services are provided in patient's home. Also provides bereavement and grief counseling.

Hawaii State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (HSCADV) is a coalition of organizations that serve survivors of domestic violence and their families. We provide education and training on domestic violence to service providers, community partners, and businesses, and develop resource for advocates and the community. We engage in public policy to improve survivor safety. We do not provide domestic violence services directly, but make referrals to appropriate agencies.

(Ekolu) --Referrals through the Hawaii CARES line-- Ekolu is an around-the-clock crisis stabilization facility designed for individuals experiencing emotional, behavioral, or psychological crises. Our primary goal is to effectively resolve the crisis and help clients regain stability. We offer a secure and therapeutic environment for adults aged 18 years old or older, providing support for up to 14 days.

Operates an adult day program for individuals with intellectual disabilities, education and vocational training programs for low-to-moderate income people including those with disabilities/special needs, and other support services. (Ka 'Ohu Hou O Manoa Transitional Housing) Transitional housing program (up to 9 months residency) for homeless women (in stable recovery from drug and/or alcohol addiction) and their children. Individual families live in a peaceful, clean and sober, supportive environment in a large, furnished bedroom with a full size bed, bunk bed, dresser, desk and closet.

Best Buddies Middle Schools and High Schools fosters one-to-one friendships between students with and without Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (IDD). Students with IDD are often isolated and left out of social activities. Best Buddies helps to create an inclusive school climate for students early on in their educational development. The middle school and high school years are a time of heightened social and emotional development and can be difficult even for those without IDD. Best Buddies helps break through social barriers at an important time in a young person's life.

(Tutu Bert's House) The Tutu Bert Medical Respite Homes serve as places for rest and recovery. Those who need medical attention arrive at our respite homes and stay until they are fully recovered from their recent medical procedure, surgery, or other treatments. Friendly staff and medical personnel are available around the clock. Meals and other supplies necessary for their recovery journey are provided to clients. Our locations are tucked away in Makiki and Kalihi.

The focus is on strengthening family sustainability through activities that encourages family participation. Hoa Aina O Makaha is a resource to the schools by providing interactive hands-on activities that broadens understanding of subject matter and enhances classroom lesson plans; activities include gardening projects and animal care. (Domestic Violence Advocacy) Families who are enrolled in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Temporary Assistance to Other Needy Families (more commonly known as “welfare”), are required to be engaged in activities that will ultimately lead them to self-sufficiency. Program recipients for whom issues of safety and domestic violence are interfering with their progress can call upon Domestic Violence Advocacy to help them find support to change their situations. Services include: assessment, service planning, counseling services, case management and linkage and referral. Provides client advocacy for women referred by Department of Human Services (DHS) in need of case management and support to leave domestic violent relationships. Six month time period given to provide victims the opportunity to gain focus and perspective of their personal goals and career choice.
