The Family Law Division performs all Family Court actions on behalf of the state including child and adult protective services, truancies, adolescent mental health cases, involuntary civil mental commitments hearings, minor and adult guardianship, adoptions, etc. Our specialized units (Family Support Unit) perform paternities and (Dead Beat Parents Unit) dead beat parents. The division also provides support to the Child Support Enforcement Agency.

The Hawaii State Food and Drug Branch conducts investigations and inspections wherever foods, drugs, cosmetics, medical devices and related products are manufactured, packed, stored, distributed or sold. Prevents public exposure to adulterated and misbranded food by identifying and correcting food safety problems before consumers are placed at risk. Ensure the removal from the sale products (food, drugs, cosmetics and medical devices) recalled by FDA or the manufacturer by contacting and inspecting wholesalers, distributors and retail stores.

Provides an array of family skill building, child abuse and neglect prevention services within the Kalihi. Both Centers offer information and referral. Both Family Centers focus on parents, school and community involvement to work together to improve academic achievement for children. The Center also offers opportunities to prevent homelessness, promote literacy and English language skills, and build employment skills through volunteer opportunities. Families and individuals may use the Computer Technology Centers to access their email and internet, type or print documents. (Friends of Mokuula) Friends of Moku'ula Inc. assists in historic preservation and restoration of culturally significant Native Hawaiian sites in the Waine'e Ahupua'a area of Lahaina moku, including Moku'ula, a sacred island buried under a ballpark, and Mokuhinia pond wetlands. Programs include: educational programs for community, historical and cultural tours for visitors, historic site restoration, archaeology, Hawaiian cultural training, historical archive research.

Private school includes grades K-12 for boys and girls.

808 Cleanups mission is to achieve complete ecosystem restoration in Hawaii. Our approach involves community engagement, education, and the removal of invasive species to allow native plants and cultural sites to flourish. Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. (Al-Anon Molokai, Alanon Family Group Maui, Alateen Maui) Al-Anon is a worldwide fellowship of those who feel their lives have been deeply affected by someone else’s drinking. The only requirement for membership is that there be a problem of alcoholism in a relative or friend. Members, who come from all walks of life, meet to share their experience, strength and hope in order to solve their common problems.
