(CLAY, Ulu Pono Kids) Ulu Pono, translated as “To Thrive on a Righteous Path,” is our after-school children’s program. We’re passionate about seeing the kids of Hawaii reach their full potential and create a fun environment where learning, doing homework and growing in character are encouraged.

Provides information on requirements of the unemployment insurance (UI) program. Accepts claims for unemployment insurance and determines if a person is eligible and the amount of benefits due. Ensures compliance by employers with the rules, regulations and provisions under the Hawaii Employment Security Law. Registers liable employers and collects taxes. Announcement: The Hawaii Unemployment Insurance Division, in partnership with the U.S Department of Labor and U.S. Postal Service have launched two new methods to provide ID verification – Login.gov and USPS in person proofing. Claimants filing for UI benefits on or after August 24, 2023 must provide proof of ID through one of these methods to continue their claim for UI benefits. Claimants can select a method of ID proofing though their initial claim confirmation page or through their claimant dashboard. IBOUNCE UP provides facilitated resilience training sessions, interactive skill-building activities, guided reflection, and practical tools participants can apply in daily life. Pre- and post-training surveys are used to measure changes in resilience knowledge, confidence, and skill application. The program is designed to complement, not replace, clinical services by providing accessible, preventive mental health education that strengthens individual and community wellbeing. The Trauma-Informed Mental Resilience Training Curriculum is a structured, evidence-based education program delivered through group sessions at partner sites across Oahu and Kauai and statewide via virtual platforms when appropriate. The curriculum focuses on building emotional regulation, stress management, healthy coping strategies, self-awareness, and interpersonal resilience using trauma-informed and culturally responsive practices. WOC is an organization affiliated with the Outdoor Circle in Honolulu. Keeps Waimea clean, green, and beautiful by developing and maintaining parks, trees, and open spaces.

Operates an artists' guild offering textile, fused glass, ceramic, wood and photographic art. Maintains a darkroom and kiln. Operates gallery and gift-shops with artists offering such exhibits as wearable art, silk screen and Hawaiian painted silk.

Supervises adult felons and some misdemeanants who are placed on probation, supervises deferred acceptance of guilty pleas or conditional discharges. Supervises interstate felon or misdemeanant probationers.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. Hawaiian Humane Society provides a pet microchipping service. Pet owners must also register their information with the company that manufactured their pet’s microchip or a free online database such as 24 Hour PetWatch or Found Animals. In 2022, the City and County of Honolulu replaced the dog licensing system with rules requiring that all pet dogs 3 months and older and cats 4 months and older must have microchip identification. Cats six months or older who are allowed outdoors are required by law to wear a collar with an identification tag.

Lunalilo Home is currently is licensed for 42 residents by the State of Hawaii Department of Health for Adult Residential Care Home (ARCH), Type II, and up to 20% of the beds for Expanded ARCH or EARCH, Type II. Residents of Lunalilo Home receive 24-hour supervised care and supportive services in an ohana (family) setting. Lunalilo Home is a private organization that is not funded by any state or federal programs. We do not directly bill Medicare or Medicaid for any of the services we provide; however, our residents may utilize Medicare and Medicaid as well as other health insurance for their medical needs. In recent years, Lunalilo Home has added elderly services including Adult Day Care, Respite Care, Meals-to-Go and Caregiver Support programs. In the coming years, Lunalilo Home plans to further enhance its services and facilities to increase its impact in the community and preserve the legacy of our kupuna and the Hawaiian people. A late fee of $250 will be assessed per 30 days outstanding.

(Ohana Connections Program) The core beliefs of the program are: all children entering foster care have the right to know and connect with their family, a right to learn about their family history, a right to maintain their family relationships, and a right to belong to a family, community, and place. Like all children, they deserve to feel stable, secure, and loved. The ‘Ohana Connections Program, working in conjunction with the ‘Ohana Finding Program, finds and engages the foster youth’s family members and other kinship family, and then helps nurture and support those renewed family connections. The time it takes for `Ohana Connections to be completed varies in length for each family, but all efforts work toward the goal of the program: to help families reweave their family cloth so every foster child has relationships that can last for a lifetime. Provides information to the public about infectious diseases, travel information, immunization and general information on vaccination for childhood diseases. Also provides a patient referral letter for a free (STDs) chlamydia, gonorrhea or syphilis test.
