Provides meetings for people with a drug problem. Some meetings are limited to substance abusers or women only. On August 8, 2023, a series of wildfires affected the city of Lahaina, on the island of Maui. Please call the Maui Helpline for the current status of meetings on the island.

(CCSS) Focuses on helping parents learn better parenting skills. Also teaches children skill building. Provides counseling to address selected issues. Parenting groups also available for parents who want to increase their parenting skills. Current classes held in Hilo, Kurtistown and Pahoa.

Maintains professional organization of architects dedicated to employing with the highest industry standards and adhering strictly to a written code of ethics. Educates the general public by demonstrating what an architect does including site selection, feasibility studies, commercial work and finished product. Provides legal contract forms for contractors and engineers. Offers referrals to member architects.

Develops programs at each school based on school community and parent needs. Coordinates parent volunteers for special activities, e.g., classroom aides. Provides parent education, homework center, tutoring, literacy program, support groups, and workshops.

Offers multipurpose senior programs and congregate meals. Serves as a focal point for service delivery and presentations by other agencies.

(Mana'olana Emergency Homeless Shelter) Provides emergency shelter for homeless individuals and families. Offers case management to help link residents to resources in the community to help stabilize them and begin to rebuild their lives. Mana’olana Emergency Shelter and Transitional Housing is located adjacent the KEO office at 2808 Wehe Road, Lihue HI 96766. Also offers dinner meals, showers, sleeping and laundry facilities.

Senior Programs assists seniors in connecting with senior clubs and also assists senior clubs with facilitation of their meetings, organization of special events, scheduling of guest speakers, and provision of health information. Senior Programs also produces a monthly publication to provide seniors valuable resources and information.

The website also contains information on tax forms and how to file your taxes. Your taxes may be filed for free via the IRS Free File or Free File Fillable Forms may be used. Information is also available on tax fraud and identity theft. We welcome bereaved children and teens (3 years old - 18 years old) for free peer support groups (not therapy). Keiki and teens who have experienced the death of a parent, sibling, ohana member, or close friend are eligible. Grief support services provided include peer-to-peer support groups in the schools and the community, children's bereavement awareness education, group facilitation training, and care package program. OSHA cannot enforce the Covid-19 guidelines/directions/orders/proclamations. Administers the Occupational Safety and Health Law and the Boiler and Elevator Safety Law. Conducts investigations of workplace catastrophes or fatalities and employee complaints regarding workplace hazards. Provides consultation to employers and training to employers and employees to encourage voluntary compliance with the Occupational Safety and Health Law standards and rules. Inspects boilers, pressure systems, amusement rides, elevators and similar equipment.

Offers parenting education classes to help raise responsible, cooperative, and caring children. Classes are designed for parents of children birth - 18 years old.

The Medical Reserve Corps in Hawaii is an all volunteer group with many different skill sets. The Hawaii MRC needs volunteers who have medical and non-medical backgrounds who want to serve their local communities during public health emergencies or large scale emergency response events.
