(ADRC) The Aging and Disability Resource Center is the source for individuals who are aging and have disabilities to get impartial information about support and services that help them remain living at home as long as possible with dignity and quality of life. The ADRC staff members provide Options Counseling. It's a process that assists you to make informed decisions to select the long term services and support you need to age well and maintain independence. The ADRC is for people of all incomes and ages, to help you make plans that carry out your individual needs and preferences. It is also a point of access for all publically funded long term support programs and benefits. ADRC is operated by the State of Hawaii in cooperation with the four county governments.

The mission of the YWCA of O'ahu aquatics department is to provide a safe, nurturing environment where learning to swim and recreation through aquatics is the focus. One of the main tenets of the program is to encourage participants to do their best with their abilities. With an emphasis on positive reinforcement, the program seeks to build confidence and self-esteem in each person. We have pools at both Laniakea and Kokokahi, and offer a comprehensive swim program at each location. All aquatic staff members are certified Water Safety Instructors (Wintertree Software Inc.). Swim classes are offered on various days and times for your convenience. All swim classes have a low student-to-teacher ratio.

(Hawaii Copd Coalition) Hawaii Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (HiCOPD) Coalition was formed in 2007 to provide services and improve treatment of Hawaii adults diagnosed with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) including emphysema, chronic bronchitis, and its related disorders. Program serves patients, caregivers, healthcare professionals and others offering free lung health information, free paper and pen screening tests, tobacco cessation information, monthly support group meetings, presentations on COPD, advocacy, training for volunteers/healthcare workers about COPD and Smoking Cessation counseling, information sharing of licensure for Hawaii’s respiratory therapists which has successfully led to licensing. (IOP) The Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP) is an intensive psychotherapeutic program designed to treat substance use disorders and co-occurring mental health disorders. Services include group therapy, individual counseling, and toxicology testing. Sessions are often done as a group. Clients go home each night, rather than living at a treatment center. Clients attend IOP groups 3-5 days per week, for a total of 9-15 hours per week.
