During counseling, these women personally select an adoptive family from service files. If needed, offers housing or relocation service. After the adoption, continues to provide counseling throughout the readjustment period.

Become a foster family and offer a loving home to an abandoned or houseless dog. Fur-Angel Foundation provides basic supplies and medical care. You transport your foster to appointments and love him/her as your own! Fostering timeframe can vary from a minimum of 30 days to potentially a few months, depending on each individual circumstance.

For those persons needing post disaster housing assistance, please contact your Disaster Case Manager (DCM) or Outreach Care Navigator (OCN) with the Disaster Case Management Program (DCMP). Ka Lai Ola is a temporary housing development that is located in West Lahaina within walking distance of Lahaina Civic Center. It will house 1,500 wildfire survivors until 2029. Ka Lai Ola will contain approximately 450 modular residential units, including a combination of studio, 1, 2, and 3 bedroom homes for independent living with full kitchens, bathrooms, and living areas.

Conducts professional development training and provides ongoing technical assistance to increase capacity and sustainability of youth-serving organizations. (Pono Roots) Pono Roots is a group counseling practice. Our therapists use family systems theory, as well as other evidence-based, supportive therapeutic interventions to help clients meet their goals.

The Rent-to-Work Program (RTW) provides rental assistance and support services to persons experiencing homelessness who are willing to maintain employment or increase income through employment. The participant must develop and follow an individualized employment and training plan to increase income. Services include: Short-term rental subsidy for 12-24 months, housing placement assistance, tansition to affordable housing (if available), job placement/job training, and intensive case management.

Provides protective services to abused, neglected, or financially exploited dependent adults, 18 years and older. Takes action, with client consent, to prevent further abuse from occurring. May involve placement into adult day care centers, residential care homes, chore services, and/or counseling and other supportive services to adults.
