(H-HEAP, LIHEAP ECI, ECI, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program - Energy Crisis Intervention) The Hawaii Home Energy Assistance Program (H-HEAP) is a federally funded program that provides eligible low-income households with a one-time utility assistance payment. Emergency Crisis Intervention (ECI) assists households in crisis (utility termination is current or impending) by assisting with a one-time credit up to $650.00 to help restore or prevent termination of electric or gas services through Hawaiian Electric or Hawaii Gas Company. Applications are accepted on a month-by-month basis, but approvals are limited and space fills quickly. Payments are made directly to your utility company. You can choose either Energy Credit (EC) or Emergency Crisis Intervention (ECI), just one assistance per fiscal year. A checklist of additional required documents is included in the application. Documents can be sent as a PDF or JPEG as long as copies are clear. H-HEAP will not be responsible for returning original documents if sent in (e.g. ID's, Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, Paystubs, Housing Documentation, etc.); Please provide copies only.

(HMSA) Hawaii Medical Service Association (HMSA) Centers and offices offer in-person customer service to members and employers with an HMSA health plan as well as individuals who are looking to enroll in an HMSA plan. Offers medical, dental, vision, and drug health care plans to individuals and employers. Plan options include fee-for-service, preferred provider organization, health maintenance organization and plans for students, self-employed and Medicare supplement.

Assists homeowners or renters who are delinquent in mortgage or rental payments. Attempts to work out loan repayment plan and provides advice on possible options available. Chamber Music Hawaii’s innovative education programs are designed to inspire, engage, and meet the needs of not only our local music directors and students, but all of our community members near and far. Each year, CMH’s three resident ensembles reach over 3,500 students, parents, teachers, administrators, and community members on all six major Hawaiian Islands, through the help of generous grant support. Our curated online modules and in-person sessions are flexible and adaptable; our most common clinic formats are: “Chamber Chats” Presentation / Demonstration In this highly requested format, the ensemble members share about their individual instruments, perform musical demonstrations, and engage with the students/audience on certain talking points within the music. Topics covered can include solid tone productions, proper posture, working as a group, etc. This style of clinic allows for a great amount of versatility so that we can present topics relative to those participating. Side-by-side This format highlights the joy and energy of performing music together between artists and students. Each member of the ensemble sits in a specific section in the band or orchestra and plays along with the students. This allows the students to interact with our artists through the music being rehearsed and provides a quick and intense learning environment. It is a highly effective way to teach the students how to communicate through music. Sectional and Individual Coaching Impactful learning is especially effective in one-on-one arrangements. Sometimes a band or orchestra director would like individual artists of the chamber ensemble to help specific instrumental sections work on the music the class is preparing. One-on-one coachings are also offered in cases where a student may need a little extra assistance, or where a student could benefit from more advanced tutoring. (Food Pantry) Hope Chapel Kahuku operates a food pantry distribution service usually 4th Monday of each month, please call ahead. Also offers a distribution of household goods and clothing and accepts donations of small household items and clothing.

Akaku Maui Community Media manages the community access television station, offers production training, and provides production services to non-profit agencies. We will list non-profit events and announcements on the Video Bulletin Board. We cablecast programming 24 hours a day on Hawaiian Cablevision channels 44, 45, 12 on Maui, 52, 53, 12 on West Maui, 3, 13, 12 on Molokai/Lanai. We accept all non-commercial programming.
