Perinatal support services provides case management services to women who receive their prenatal care at Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center (WCCHC) from the time they enter prenatal care until 3 months postpartum. Perinatal support services also offers prenatal classes to pregnant women and their partners in the Waianae community.

Inspects food and food service establishments, milk plants, frozen dessert manufacturing plants, dairy farms, hotels and other multi-dwelling units, adult family care homes, intermediate care facilities, skilled nursing facilities, hospitals, public swimming pools, barber and beauty shops, mortuaries, embalmers, tattoo parlors and artists, massage parlors and other general public health nuisances.

Mana`olana, Komohana, Lawehana and Kome Transitional housing sites provides safe and decent shelters with case management and assistance towards permanent housing by addressing obstacles which prevent homeless persons from obtaining and retaining permanent housing through a coordinated effort of health, housing, financial and social services.

Residents of Maui who were affected by the August 8, 2023 wildfires and received an initial rental assistance from Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) may be eligible for continued rental assistance. To be eligible for continued rental assistance, you must have used your initial rental assistance as intended, and: -you must be unable to return to your pre-disaster residence because it is uninhabitable, cannot be accessed or is unavailable as a result of the wildfires -you cannot pay for housing without assistance -you are not receiving temporary housing help from any other source. -You also need to develop a long-term housing plan and be able to demonstrate progress toward one If you need continued rental assistance, you must complete an Application for Continued Temporary Housing Assistance. -Homeowners: If your FEMA-verified Real Property Loss exceeds the amount of the initial Rental Assistance awarded, the Application for Continued Temporary Housing Assistance will automatically be mailed to you after you have received the initial Rental Assistance award. -Homeowners: If the Real Property Loss does not exceed the amount of the initial Rental Assistance, you will need to call FEMA’s Helpline to request the application. -Renters: You will need to request the Continued Temporary Housing Assistance Request form by calling FEMA’s Helpline. Project Vision is providing shelter for those affected by the Maui wildfires in August 2023 that do not have shelter. The site will be able to house around 150 people who will be provided a military grade tent for shelter. There is access to showers, medical care and restrooms as well as other services. The shelter will also provide transportation to and from the site. Case managers from the state will also be on hand to work with those shelter residents to develop a recovery plan. Location is off Hana Highway in Pu'unene.

Read To Me International promotes reading aloud as a means to raising children who love and value reading. It bases its mission, "To share the love and joy of reading aloud," on research and best practices through the following activities: presentations and workshops to parents, educators, and caregivers; book fairs; biennial read-aloud conferences featuring authors and illustrators; prison literacy; programs for mothers, including one for those living in transitional housing; and special events, including reading to children in schools, preschools, and service organizations. Read To Me International Foundation is devoted to improving children's literacy. Its mission is to promote the love and joy of reading aloud to children. Read To Me educates the public about the importance of reading aloud to children through multi-media, ads, newsletters, website, presentations for parents at schools and preschools, social media and public service announcements.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring, and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music and dance, seasonal activities and crafts, excursions and swimming.
