The national Disaster Distress Helpline (DDH) is a program of the U.S. Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) administered by Vibrant Emotional Health (formerly the Mental Health Association of New York City) that offers 24/7 crisis counseling and emotional support to anyone in the US/territories experiencing distress or other behavioral health concerns related to natural or human-caused disasters. Callers and texters are connected to trained counselors from a network of independently-operated crisis centers across the country. Services are available to people who are Deaf or hard of hearing via the DDH Videophone for American Sign Language (ASL) users. The DDH also offers peer support communities through private Facebook groups where people across the U.S. impacted by disasters can connect with others from similar backgrounds/experiences for mutual aid and support during recovery. A Critical Access Hospital with 24 hours, 7 days a week Emergency Department and 5 bed Acute unit as well as distinct part 66 bed Long Term Care and 9 bed Adult Acute Psychiatric unit. Provides outpatient rehabilitation services including treatment for back pain, sports and on-the-job injuries, stroke, and neuropathies. (HUOA) The Legacy Ballroom is a fully air-conditioned, multi-functional auditorium/theater and banquet hall, featuring a 40 foot wide theater stage, a professional lighting and sound system and a large projection screen that drops from above the stage. A beautiful garden provides the perfect setting for an outdoor wedding and picture taking. The Ballroom can accommodate up to 800 guests for a sit-down banquet or up to 1,200 guests for a stand-up reception or in a theater style sitting configuration. The Legacy Ballroom can also be divided into two smaller rooms, Legacy I and Legacy II. Our Legacy I Ballroom seats (min.) 200 to 350 (max.) guests, and our Legacy II Ballroom seats (min.) 125 to 200 (max.) guests.

(Community-Based Mentoring Program) Case Managers at Big Brothers Big Sisters Hawaii work with parents, guardians, therapists, counselors, schools, and youth serving organizations to identify and pair under-resourced youth from ages 6 years old and older with one-on-one mentors. Case Managers create an outcome development plan in collaboration with the parent/guardian, child and volunteer. Plans are updated yearly. Youth and their mentors meet 2-3 times per month for a few hours each outing. Outings are selected by the youth. Mentors pick-up their mentees and are responsible for transportation and other costs they incur. Some of the costs are offset by sponsored activities and discounts at partnering companies.

Marianas Hawaii Medical Referral Office Assists citizens of the Northern Mariana Islands who are visiting or living in Hawaii. Provides services to CNMI residents for medical referrals, student services for students who want to attend Hawaii schools and colleges. Also provides information for potential visitors to Marianas. The Mariana Islands consist of Rota, Tinian, Saipan and Northern Islands.

Provides services to individuals with disabilities who are seeking employment or independent living functioning. Provides counseling and guidance, physical and mental restoration, interpreter and reader services, assistive devices, occupational licenses, and rehabilitation technology.

Special Needs Classroom Outreach Program is aimed at young people who are physically and mentally challenged. The objective is developing social, learning and motor skills through program activities and highlighted with a special camp out. The camp out is a very exciting time for students because they participate in activities that normal children participate in. The teachers and volunteers have viewed this activity as very positive. The youth are provided a means of achievement and recognition, personal development, self-help and self-esteem. KAMP Hawaii personnel have a proud working and friendly relationship with students, volunteers and teachers.
