Provides direct emergency client assistance such as first aid and transportation for endangered clients in isolated areas and to medical appointments as part of ongoing case coordination. Provides emergency food, clothing, hygiene, shelter and supplies for clients. Provides a client-centered program of health assessments and education, counseling, referrals to appropriate available services and follow-up.

Hina Mauka objective is provide a comprehensive services delivery system of residential, day treatment and aftercare levels of care. Hina Mauka’s objective is to provide a separate track for co-occurring disorders consumers deemed appropriate. Another objective is to provide a longer term treatment perspective that incorporates the stages of change research to “meet the consumer where they are”. Cognitive restructuring techniques; motivational enhancement interventions and motivational interviewing techniques; relapse prevention; and other services are designed to help the consumer foster independence, connect to community-based services, and participate in support activities to increase stability. Hina Mauka’s objective is to provide a specifically designed curriculum with skill building and process groups that are designed to facilitate a change in thought processes, attitudes, values and behaviors that promotes a greater degree of personal responsibility.
