(H-HEAP, LIHEAP ECI, ECI, Low-Income Home Energy Assistance Program - Energy Crisis Intervention) The Hawaii Home Energy Assistance Program (H-HEAP) is a federally funded program that provides eligible low-income households with a one-time utility assistance payment. Emergency Crisis Intervention (ECI) assists households in crisis (utility termination is current or impending) by assisting with a one-time credit up to $650.00 to help restore or prevent termination of electric or gas services through Hawaiian Electric or Hawaii Gas Company. Applications are accepted on a month-by-month basis, but approvals are limited and space fills quickly. Payments are made directly to your utility company. You can choose either Energy Credit (EC) or Emergency Crisis Intervention (ECI), just one assistance per fiscal year. A checklist of additional required documents is included in the application. Documents can be sent as a PDF or JPEG as long as copies are clear. H-HEAP will not be responsible for returning original documents if sent in (e.g. ID's, Birth Certificates, Social Security Cards, Paystubs, Housing Documentation, etc.); Please provide copies only.

(Laulima, Lokahi tree) The Laulima Giving Program (hands working together) partners with companies and the local communities to assist struggling families by donating goods, retail gift cards, etc.

(WUCC Food Pantry, WUCC) Central Union Church Windward Food Distribution Program provides non-perishable food and prepackaged bags of food (protein, fruit, starch, vegetables). The church is committed to providing this outreach to the community and everyone who has a need for food is welcome. Please bring your own bag for food pick up. Central Union Church Windward is a Hawaii Food Bank Agency authorized to receive FDA products, therefore our program is required to have our clients sign a form confirming the need and number of individuals in the household. (Ola I Ka Hana Youth Program - Kona) Program for low-income at at-risk youth who are in or out of school. Help with building skills to obtain a High School Equivalency or GED, exploring post-secondary education, and employment exploration.

Immigration and Refugee Services helps with documentation, housing assistance, food, etc. There is current agency recognition and staff accreditation by the Board of Immigration Appeals of the Department of Justice. Pacific Gateway Center's Immigration and Refugee Services helps with case management for pre-immigration through arrival. Newly-arrived Ukrainian families are welcome to call us for consultation on legal immigration and social services.

Offers certification classes in CPR, AED, First Aid and Bloodborne pathogens to the general public. Retails angel medical uniform (scrub uniforms, lab coats and jackets), medical uniforms, nursing school uniforms, polo shirts, and CPR, First Aid and medical supplies. Also offers logos design, silk screening and embroidery services. Also retails the "Hawaii made clothes by last minute CPR and First Aid" clothing line.

(ATV, Alternatives to Violence) Professional counselors on call to help youth who are in psychiatric crisis or to supplement the efforts of their caregivers. Counselors can refer clients to specialized, short-term, out-of-home placement when needed. Youth Services groups are offered in both East and West Hawaii to both boys and girls ages 12 years old - 17 years old who are deemed perpetrators of harm. The focus of this group is to offer tools for reducing impulsive behaviors, improving self esteem and increasing the level of social competence as well as addressing the dynamics of adolescent victimization. The Youth Service groups are 20 weeks long and group is once per week; however, times and days of group may vary by location.

(Food Pantry) Hope Chapel Kahuku operates a food pantry distribution service usually 4th Monday of each month, please call ahead. Also offers a distribution of household goods and clothing and accepts donations of small household items and clothing.

Food donations are accepted at Hale Kau Kau. Hale Kau Kau program serves dinner meals on-site to those who do not have the resources for basic food. Hale Kau Kau delivers dinner meals every day to homebound persons (seniors, people with disabilities, etc.)

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, games and sports, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

Provides special language assistance and support services for students whose first language or dominant home language is not English. Bilingual school/home assistants link parents with school.

Supportive group housing is provided on a less intense level with consumer support available 8-16 hours a day on-site and on-call.

You can use the Report to: -get fraudulent information removed from your credit report -stop a company from collecting debts that result from identity theft, or from selling the debt to another company for collection -place an extended fraud alert on your credit report -get information from companies about accounts the identity thief opened or misused
