(Family Peace Center - Maui) Maui Family Peace Center teaches non-violent problem-solving skills for families struggling with adult aggression and behavioral dysfunction, emphasizing partnership, equality, and respect among families. Support for survivors/victims and child witnesses of domestic violence that includes individual and group counseling, case management, parental classes, community referrals and legal system advocacy. Support for offenders includes violence intervention groups. Adolescent services provided free of charge for those in need of effective problem solving skills to manage anger and/or those exhibiting violent behavior and anger control issues; anyone can refer themselves or a family member. Community education and training for schools, community groups, and agencies available.

(HCA) The Hawai‘i Conservation Alliance (HCA) is a cooperative collaboration of conservation leaders representing nineteen government, education, and non-profit organizations. Collectively we are responsible for managing the biodiversity of Hawai‘i’s lands and waters. We also represent people who work and use the land and water for social, cultural, and agricultural purposes. The mission of the Hawai‘i Conservation Alliance is to provide unified leadership and advocacy on conservation issues critical to Hawai‘i. Our purpose is to work together to continue a legacy of stewardship and to achieve the goal of promoting the preservation of native terrestrial and marine ecosystems, increasing the diversity of native species, and ensuring that the unique biodiversity of our islands is maintained into the future. We also post available jobs in the fields of conservation and agriculture. Among the jobs listed, there are several entry level positions offering extensive in the field training for those interested in a career in conservation work and whose employment has been affected by the Covid-19 pandemic.

Enforces laws, rules and regulations relating to the conservation and preservation of land and natural resources. Verifies leases, permits and licenses issued by the DLNR. Enforces laws relating to firearms, ammunition and dangerous weapons. Controls and manages beaches with public access. Participates with search and rescue efforts locally.

(Steadfast Pacific) Acquires, develops, owns, and manages permanent supported housing suitable for occupancy by persons in Hawaii with chronic mental illness, also known as SMI (Seriously Mentally Ill). Operates 29 group homes (including duplex units) and 6 condominium units. All clients are being provided with mental health supportive services at the Community Mental Health Centers.

(Pancake Breakfast) Serves a grab-n-go hot breakfast i.e., rice, meat, egg and dessert on Sunday. Please do not eat breakfast on campus or loiter. Meals will be distributed from our main gate on Beretania Street. Sorry, no restroom facilities available.

Thrift store selling clothing and other goods. Donations accepted at the table. We do not accept furniture, mattresses, or television donations. Clothing vouchers for emergency clothing filled out at the Honokaa Thrift Store.

(MEO, MEO Core 4 Business Planning Class) Offers a 30-hour course that helps individuals analyze business opportunity and plan success. The course guides individuals in the development of a realistic, achievable plan for a business. It is helpful for prospective entrepreneurs as well as existing small business owners.

Provides information and referral services to Hawaiians for health and human service resources and links clients with appropriate agency services.

Youth learn and practice Hawaiian and other arts, cultural traditions, protocols and values taught by kupuna and experienced while hiking, paddling canoe, celebrating their history and restoring the environment. Youth document their learning with digital and other media, including public art installations that honor and perpetuate our culture.

Private school includes grades 9-12 for boys and girls.

Operates a public nature preserve. Smoking prohibited in lower park.

(Food Pantry) Aiea Seventh Day Adventist Church provides food boxes for families in need as well as clean used clothing as needed. We provide grooming supplies as well.

(Hawaii VA Foundation) Community volunteers shops for and deliver groceries, medication and necessary supplies to the kupuna's home every 2 weeks. The kupuna pays for the groceries that the volunteer delivers. The volunteer does not enter the kupuna's home. Inquire about other islands in the service area.

Inspects plants and animals arriving and leaving Hawaii to prevent spread of undesirable pests and diseases. Enforces federal regulations governing the movement of agricultural items to the United States mainland.

Provides a national toll-free phone line to answer commonly asked questions on postal service, such as service hours, zip code and address information, and mailing rates. A caller attempting to reach a postal worker in Hawaii, or who asks a question that cannot be answered by Mainland operators, will be given a local number to call. Also provides U.S. Passports and voter ballot forms also available at several Post Office locations.

Promotes, develops and maintains apprenticeship and other work-based training programs. Educates and informs women about non-traditional employment opportunities and work-based training.

Planned Parenthood Great Northwest, Hawaii, Alaska, Indiana and Kentucky offers in-person and telehealth care for abortion, birth control, emergency contraception, vasectomy, gender-affirming services, HIV testing, pregnancy testing, prenatal and postpartum services, STD testing and treatment, pap smears, vaccines, screening and treatment of minor gynecological problems like UTIs, wellness and preventive care, substance use support and referrals, unhealthy relationship support and referrals, and education and counseling.
