Girl Scouts' leadership development program builds girls of courage, confidence and character who make the world a better place. Through leadership programs in STEM, Outdoor Experience and Financial literacy and Entrepreneurship girls learn to discover, connect and take action to fulfill their potential as leaders and to improve their communities.

Our Brain Injury Program provides acute rehabilitation for patients who have sustained traumatic brain injury. We provide a comprehensive and individualized plan using an interdisciplinary team approach, working closely with patients and their families/caregivers to address specific needs and goals. Our patient-centered care model is focused on patients to maximize their potential. The REHAB staff also includes Certified Brain Injury Specialists (CBIS) who have the expertise and knowledge to work with special needs following a brain injury. We help patients schedule a follow-up appointment with their physicians in our Physicians Clinic so they can continue their rehabilitation therapy in our outpatient NeuroTrauma Recovery Program (NTRP). The NTRP is designed for patients recovering from a traumatic brain injury and provides comprehensive rehabilitation assessment and service for impairments in cognitive, psychosocial and physical abilities due to a traumatic brain injury. Caregivers and family members are provided with a three-hour Caregiver Education and Training (CET) prior to discharge, meeting with each member of the interdisciplinary care team to get hands-on training.

Assists Micronesian citizens in arranging for medical care, training, employment, and other services. Provides notary public services. The Consulate General of the Federated States of Micronesia provides a gamut of consular services to the people of the four States of Chuuk, Kosrae, Pohnpei and Yap that constitute the federation residing in the State of Hawaii as its principal bailiwick. It performs many of the functions delineated in the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations and relevant international treatises in which FSM is a member, and carries out any instructions from the home government as permissible under state and local laws of the State of Hawaii. A major component of the Consulate General's work has to do with attending to the required documentations of citizens such as facilitating processing of passports, travel documents, affidavits, guardianship and power of attorney documents, among others. The Consulate General does not issue passports.

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program. Nourishing supplemental foods: Checks to buy healthy foods such as: Milk, Peanut butter, Fruits and vegetables, Canned tuna or salmon, Juice, Whole grain breads, tortillas, Eggs or brown rice, Cheese, Baby foods, Cereal Infant formula, Dry beans or peas, Tofu, and soy milk Health and social service referrals: Help in finding health care and other community services.

Offers vocational and liberal arts degree programs. Assists students with admissions, records, transcripts, provides help to students with financial aid, housing and student activities. Call Student Services and they can assist you with student issues.

Provides a national toll-free phone line to answer commonly asked questions on postal service, such as service hours, zip code and address information, and mailing rates. A caller attempting to reach a postal worker in Hawaii, or who asks a question that cannot be answered by Mainland operators, will be given a local number to call. Also provides U.S. Passports and voter ballot forms also available at several Post Office locations.

Maintains a not for-profit professional association affiliated with the American Public Health Association, for public healthcare professionals. Seeks to provide an independent voice on issues which impact public health. Represents a broad based coalition of public health professionals and organizational members in Hawaii.

(Kumukahi Health + Wellness, Hawaii Island HIV/AIDS Foundation) Provides STD Testing and Treatment,HIV and Hepatitis C Testing, Sexual Health Counseling, PrEP Navigation Services, Client Services for people living with HIV and their families. Assists with daily living needs, financial aid for housing, food and medicine. Offers individual counseling, nursing, and social service case management. Accessing all aspect of medical care including vision, dental and drug assistance. Qualifying for public and private aid programs for housing and financial assistance, home health services, essential transportation, etc, Counseling and referral services including mental health, harm reduction and return to work programs, disability claims and a fully stocked food pantry on-site.

Kaiser Foundation Health Plan provides a appointment line for members to call to make appointments. All Kaiser plan members affected by the Kona Low on March 2026 can call to get help with appointments.

(TANF, TAONF) The federal Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) Program provides temporary cash assistance to eligible families. The monthly cash assistance given to families may be used to pay for food, clothing, housing and utility expenses, and other daily needs. Eligible families include at least one specified relative adult and a minor dependent child who resides in the same home. In addition, family members must be US citizens. The State of Hawaii Temporary Assistance for Other Needy Families (TAONF) Program provides the same benefits and services to Hawaii’s vulnerable families with children as the TANF program. The TAONF program eligibility includes mixed citizens and non-citizens, and single- and two-parent households. Rainbow School Kaneohe has been in operation since 1991. Our school is located on the grounds of Parker United Methodist Church. Rainbow School Kaneohe is able to care for 120 children ranging in age from 2 years to 5 years old. Our program is licensed by the State of Hawaii and also has the distinction of being accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC). All staff meet State licensing requirements. We accept DHS – Child Care Connection, Open Door, First-to-Work, Kamehameha Schools’ Keiki Pauahi Scholars Program, and Federal subsidies. All tuition payments are done through the FACTS Tuition Management program. Your child’s Form 14, current TB clearance and DHS 908 Form are required upon acceptance into the school. Parents are also responsible for a non-refundable registration fee of $175 upon acceptance. If there are no availabilities, your child’s application will be placed on the center’s waitlist.
