Provides support and information for lesbian, gay, bi-sexual, transgender and questioning youth, their parents, teachers, counselors, and youth workers. If enough participants are available we can provides weekly support groups for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning youth up to age 25, when we have a minimum of 5 interested participants.

LDAH provides mentoring, technical assistance and workshop training in special education to parents/families of children with disabilities or suspected disabilities. In some cases, we will provide advocacy support for parents when information about their child at the school level becomes more complicated.

Provides confidential crisis intervention, legal system advocacy/ support, counseling, and medical services for sexual assault victims. Victims choose whether to report to police. Staff will be present at police interview if desired. Prevention education to schools and community also available. Also provides counseling services to anyone who has been sexually assaulted at anytime.

Provides training and preparation for licensure for foster and adoptive parents. Provides child, adolescent, family, individual, and group therapy. Also provides services to autistic children, psychological evaluations, therapeutic foster care program, and after school and summer day programs and a skills trainer program.

A Critical Access Hospital with 24 hours, 7 days a week Emergency Department and 5 bed Acute unit as well as distinct part 66 bed Long Term Care and 9 bed Adult Acute Psychiatric unit. Provides outpatient rehabilitation services including treatment for back pain, sports and on-the-job injuries, stroke, and neuropathies. Other outpatient services include radiology and Specialty Clinics. Offers four spacious treatment booths and a hydrotherapy room. Specializes in MyoFacial Release techniques and designing Work-Hardening programs. Occupational therapy provides consultation for ADL (Activities of Daily Living) training and adaptive aids.

(Food Pantry, St Joseph Catholic Church Food Pantry) Saint Joseph Catholic Church provides a food pantry for those in need. Each household receives one bag of groceries and one bag of fresh vegetables and/or frozen items. Households with 4 or more members receives two bags of groceries and two bags of fresh vegetables and/or frozen items. Clients need to register with the Food Pantry to qualify when they receive their food items for the first time. Food donations of canned fruits, meats, soup, beans, vegetables, cereal, and juice are welcome. Any food donations can be left in the food donation bin at the entrance of the church.

Inspects and certifies grade, quality and condition of agriculture products such as fresh fruits, vegetables, flowers, foliage, shell eggs, animal feed, coffee, nuts and processed food products. (Behavioral Medicine) Adventist Health Castle provides a comprehensive, 29-bed inpatient behavioral health services unit, providing compassionate care for individuals experiencing a wide range of psychiatric conditions. The team is experienced and equipped to help with anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, psychotic disorders and other mental health conditions. You are always in control of your treatment and can decide to discontinue care at any time.

Provides community programs such as: awards system, ride along, tours, law enforcement, neighborhood watch programs, speakers bureau, operation ID and police/military relations. Also provides (upon request) Keiki ID cards at special events and/or schools (does not provide ID cards on an individual basis).

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include gym with weight room and gymnastics room, meeting room building, arts and crafts building, six tennis courts, play apparatus, three softball fields, a baseball field, two outdoor basketball courts and an outdoor volleyball court. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. A list of activities, registration dates, and program period information is published in the Midweek prior to registration.

Accepts information on missing persons. (ROPES) Offers a program designed to enhance self-esteem, teamwork, develop confidence and increase trust in others. Open to community groups and businesses. Consists of a specially designed obstacle course with cable ropes, pulleys and wooden beams.
