Kumu Kahua Theatre

Kumu Kahua means "Original stage" or "Platform". Kumu Kahua is a Playwright's Theatre in the State of Hawaii, providing the local community with 35 years of plays written by local playwrights for the community to attend. The 100 seater black box theatre performs five plays during its Season of Shows. Produces theatre oriented towards Hawaii's people, in their multi-ethnic diversity. Acts as a platform for local writers as well as hands-on operation for local actors, directors and theatre technicians. Offers classes in playwriting and acting. Disability and Communication Access Board reviews and assesses the problems, needs, services and resources in the State of Hawaii including, but not limited to, employment, education, social services, civil rights, public facilities, housing, vocational training, rehabilitation and recreation. The board publishes educational materials, sponsors workshops and provides technical assistance to industries/agencies, conducts research studies, advises State and County agencies on issues related to persons with disabilities, and conducts testing of sign language interpreters and issues state credential based on test results. American Youth Soccer Organization

(Recreational Soccer League, Soccer) American Youth Soccer Organization (AYSO) is a Youth Soccer Organization servicing the Kaneohe area to include areas up through Kaaawa. There is a very important program (VIP) for the physically challenged. The Program runs all year round with our main season during the fall of each year. Provides basic concepts of soccer to the youth of Kaneohe with the intent for the youth to participate at higher levels as they become available. Clinics are provided to adults to obtain the basics for coaching and refereeing. AYSO is entirely made up of volunteers.

Our Cancer Rehabilitation Program (CRP) is a comprehensive program that provides outpatient rehabilitation to cancer patients and survivors. Whether newly diagnosed or finished with treatment, we can help decrease pain and enable individuals to safely and effectively regain independence. Our goal is to help patients love their life as they did before cancer. For those who want to increase their independence and fulfill rehab goals, the CRP may be the right path. Patients work with a team of cancer rehabilitation specialists, including physical therapists and exercise physiologists, to create a program tailored specifically towards improving quality of life.
