(Pregnancy Problem Center) The Pearson Place Pregnancy Resource Center provides support to women and men faced with difficult pregnancy decisions. Free pregnancy tests, referrals for free ultrasounds, information about pregnancy options, material resources, agency referrals and ongoing practical support provided.

Provides a wide range of support services for persons living with HIV/AIDS, their family members and significant others. Assists clients in applying for benefits and other AIDS-related services. Sponsors case management services, counseling, support groups, recreational activities, meal programs and vocational counseling. Provides financial assistance with rent/mortgage and other expenses when funds are available. Specialized services for Native Hawaiians, and those with drug or housing issues. VOLUNTEERS WELCOME! Issues marriage licenses.

(HCBS) Adult Day Health in combination with Community Learning Services Group supports participants through a set of services on site and community based. Residential Habilitation provides individualized supports that assist the resident with the acquisition, retention, or improvement in skills related to living in the community. Chore Service provides services to maintain the home as a clean, sanitary and safe environment in order to ensure the participant’s health and welfare. Community Learning Services, Individual supports participant’s integration in the community. Personal Assistance/Habilitation includes a range of assistance or habilitative training services provided in the participant’s own home or family home to enable a participant to acquire, retain and/or improve skills related to living in his/her home. Training and Consultation assist unpaid caregivers, paid service supervisors and/or paid support staff in implementing the goals and outcomes developed from the person-centered planning process included in the Individualized Service Plan. RCH started its Developmental Disabilities Domiciliary Homes program in 1977. The homes were built by RCH with funds from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). The homes are licensed and monitored by the State Department of Health. Currently, RCH operates two domiciliary homes with a capacity of housing and providing services for up to four residents in each home. The homes are managed by Domiciliary Home Managers who provide a family environment and support the residents in developing their independent daily living skills through integration in the community. The program consists of a highly structured skill developmental training program focused on personal care, social integration, and systematic positive behavior changes. The program is complemented with a day activity program and transportation services.

(Food Pantry) Saint Raphael's Church provides a bag or a box of food to those that are in need, mainly canned goods. They occasionally provides eggs, meat and toiletries. The pantry will be open the 3rd Thursday of the month in November and December 2025.

Elder Law Program focuses on legal issues of socially and economically needy elders on Oahu and provides advice/counsel and referrals for problems involving public entitlements, guardianship/conservatorship, housing, landlord/tenant, elder abuse, age discrimination, consumer protection, healthcare decisions, and planning for incapacity and death.

Prevents and protects persons and property against crime. Enforces county ordinances and state laws. Investigates missing persons, juvenile offenses and criminal activity. Coordinates traffic safety. Registers and issues firearm permits. Administers and promotes community education and prevention programs such as Crimestoppers, DARE, Neighborhood Watch.

Two main programs make up the foundation of Abilities Unlimited - the Medicaid Waiver Program and the Employment Program: -Medicaid Waiver Program serves individuals with disabilities referred by the State of Hawaii Department of Health Developmental Disabilities Division, offering personal assistance/habilitation services, adult day health services, and employment services for medicaid waiver clients. -Employment Program serves clients referred by the State of Hawaii Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR), assisting individuals with disabilities and other barriers to gain and maintain employment. Abilities Unlimited works with DVR clients via contracts: Supported Employment Program and Vocational and Work Adjustment Training Services. Youth identified as requiring intensive mental health services may be enrolled with the Department of Health (DOH) Family Guidance Center (FGC) located in the school district of their home school. They are assigned an FGC Mental Health Care Coordinator (MHCC) at that time. The youth may, and often will, continue to receive School-Based Behavioral Health (SBBH) services and supports from the Department of Education (DOE) in conjunction with the intensive mental health services.

(SNAP Employment and Training Program) Provides skills training, job readiness training, job placement, education/training support, and case management services.

Shelter of Wisdom rents homes which are shared by our men. Men live in double rooms with shared living areas and house chores. We provide intensive case management until our men are accepted into permanent housing. We provide household furnishings for their new homes, which are donated to us by the community. Men must maintain their sobriety, hygiene, medications, meal preparation, laundry, housekeeping and behavior.

(ELR) Early Learning Readiness (ELR) for Family, Friend and Neighbor Caregivers is a research-based community program that gives young children (not in facility-based childcare), high-quality physical, emotional and cognitive experiences. It also equips their teacher, ensuring they start kindergarten ready to learn. The program provides a stimulating, preschool-like experience through learning centers that foster young child development and improve school readiness, while also supporting and developing the skills and knowledge of caregivers. Early Learning Readiness - services are provided at the Aliamanu Military Reservations for the Pearl Harbor and Wheeler Schoefield locations.
