Provides outpatient individual, family and group counseling, psychiatric care, and chemical dependency treatment services. Medication Center of the Pacific - Eviction Mediation Pilot Program

(Act 278) The Mediation Center of the Pacific has been contracted to administer the Eviction Mediation Pilot Program. This two-year pilot program requires early and free mediation between landlords and tenants before eviction for nonpayment of rent. The program runs February 5, 2026 - February 4, 2028. Tenants have 10 calendar days to respond to an eviction notice. If a tenant requests mediation in 10 day notice period, then the landlord must participate before filing for eviction. Mediation sessions are online via Zoom or in person, per request. For landlords, visit the website for more information and to submit a Landlord Intake Form to start the process. (H2H, Hele2Work, Hele to Work) The staff of the Hele2Work Employment Program at the Institute for Human Services (IHS) provide job readiness and post employment follow up services, as well as job search assistance along with referrals to job training classes and vocational training programs when available for those who qualify to participate in them. All Hele2Work services are free to those in need who are homeless, or who are at-risk of becoming homeless if employment is not secured quickly.
