An ongoing support group for family members who have experienced a loss in their lives. The group offers the public a chance to explore and exchange experiences in coping with loss, facilitate communications, methods of communicating the memories of loved ones, and more.

Provides comprehensive services to persons in acute mental health crisis or who are suffering from a serious mental illness. Provides psychiatric evaluation and treatment, counseling and psychotherapy, case management, crisis intervention, and psychosocial rehabilitation.

Operates a psychosocial rehabilitation program for seriously mentally ill adults utilizing a clubhouse model philosophy. Helps members increase or regain their personal and social skills, self confidence, self esteem and level of satisfaction to resume a productive life in the community. City and County of Honolulu youth can use the Youth HOLO card to pay for rides on TheBus, and in the future the HandiVan, and the rail system on June 30, 2023. Go to the website for frequently asked questions (FAQ), register your card so you can protect it from loss or theft and transfer fees, sign up for the auto-reload program, check your balance for up to six family members and manage their cards and balances. Fares are capped and your money goes toward a pass. Once you spend the amount of a pass, you ride the rest of the day or month for free. Youth fares are $3.75. Transfers are free within 2.5 hours of riding the vehicle.

We can help them to apply for bus passes or other financial assistance. We also provide taxi vouchers to and from the hospital or the specialist as necessary.

Provides nutrition and support services for Native Hawaiians aged 60 and over. Serves lunch on scheduled site days. Offers friendly visiting, telephone reassurance and referrals to other community agencies. Provides limited transportation (call for further information) and home-delivered meals to eligible participants.

(Ho'omau Ke Ola - HKO) Hoomau Ke Ola operates a culture-based substance abuse treatment center providing residential, outpatient, and aftercare levels of care along with transitional housing, case management services, individual and group counseling, family education, and vocational education. Using cross-cultural perspectives to the healing of addiction, Hoomau Ke Ola clients participate in outdoor activities that include restoration of Hawaiian agricultural land, service to the community, hula and canoeing.

Operation School Bell provides new school clothing to children in schools identified as Title 1 by the Hawaii State Department of Education and school personnel. In schools with school uniforms, a school shirt is paid for by the Assistance League of Hawaii.

Offers classes on weight management, and smoking cessation. Teaches aerobics. Offers programs on coping with cancer, diabetes, and hypertension (high blood pressure). Provides one-on-one consultations on smoking cessation and nutrition.
