Family Support Hawai'i provides a comprehensive array of supportive services for prenatal women, infants and toddlers, including those with disabilities, preschool-aged children. Offices are located in Kona and Waimea, with child care centers in Kealakehe High School and Greenwell Child Development Center in Kealakekua. (Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program. Shelter facilities provide guests with hot showers, daily meals (3 meals a day), storage lockers, mail service, and access to services that include case management, healthcare, employment, and housing assistance.

The Kauai Independent Food Bank (KIFB) makes referrals for food to the public (individuals needing food). Referrals are made to the 50 distribution sites throughout Kauai and specifically non-profit member agencies and churches on Kauai. The KICB Food pantry on the 2nd and 4th Wednesday of the month 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Call for emergency food on days without a food pantry. Please bring a reusable bag and and ID if possible.

(After School Drop In) The Susannah Wesley Community Center After School Enrichment Program provides a safe, structured spaces where youth ages 7 years old -18 year old can build life skills, discover new interest, and form meaningful relationships with peers. Services include first aid, adult and pediatric care, and ob-gyn services (offered every Friday) Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. -Kaiser Permanente First Aid Station located at the Hyatt Regency Lahaina, Maui Suites, Promenade Lower Level is providing first aid services and wound care Monday-Friday 9:00 am - 4:00 pm, Saturday 9:00 am - 1:00 pm. Pharmacy courier services will be available at all three sites.

We support, educate and advocate for choice at the end of life. We support individuals as they navigate their way through the health care system. We support legislation relating to choice in dying as well as work to stop legislation that restricts choice. We advocate for those whose end-of-life wishes are not being followed. We provide state-specific advance directives and information on how to complete these documents. Proponents of aid in dying for incurable and terminally ill mentally competent persons, requesting aid in dying to achieve a peaceful death.

(Mobile Food Distribution - Kahului) Feed My Sheep provides food boxes to those in need at across from 45 West Kamehameha Avenue. This is across the street from Salvation Army Kahului.

(Hale Hoomalu) Provides services to individuals who are experiencing domestic violence or threatened with same. Offers assistance in obtaining temporary restraining orders (TRO) and complying with related court appearances. Provides court advocacy and support. Offers protective services for families with abused or neglected children through the TRO process (if applicable). Provides psycho-educational groups (both court ordered and voluntary) to men who batter. Provides on-going support groups for victims of domestic violence.
