(Hawaii Relief Program) Maui Economic Opportunity has been contracted to administer the Hawaii Relief Program. Provides housing, case management, and nutrition services to Hawaii residents on Island of Oahu with disabilities, including HIV/AIDS and have very low income. Housing services include transitional shelter, short-term rent assistance, utility assistance, security deposit assistance, and rental subsidy programs. Case management is provided in conjunction with housing assistance. Nutritional services includes grocery distribution, home delivery to the house bound, and twice weekly hot lunches.

Provides individual and family support, which promotes successful community living in the lifestyle of choice and which respects personal preferences, appreciates individual differences and preserves privacy and dignity to people with developmental disabilities, or acquired disabilities due to aging or head injury. Supports may include day service, personal assistance, habilitation, respite, skilled nursing or medically fragile case management.

(SHEG) A one time, not ongoing financial assistance for households who are homeless or at-risk for homelessness. Single, couples and families. Provides assistance with rent deposit, first month rent, past due rent, utilities when included with rent or if utility assistance prevents homelessness. Utility assistance for renters only.
