To help residents make the most of their visit, DPP is offering free, one-on-one prescheduled appointments with staff throughout the day. Each 20-minute session will focus on helping participants navigate the process to repair or rebuild their home or business, including questions about zoning, permitting pathways, and any required approvals. Spay and Neuter Services

(KHS) Until February 2024, a Grant-in-Aid program from the State of Hawaii keeps the cost of the spay and neuter services to $35 per animal and includes a microchip if the animal needs one. Surgery must be paid for in advance and is Non-Refundable. Funding assistance for qualified individuals may be available through our Spay Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP). Download the form from the website and email completed form. Cats must be at least two pounds, two months, and in good health. Dogs must be at least three months old. Please see your regular vet prior to scheduling surgery if you have any health concerns. Kauai Humane Society reserves the right to deny surgery to any animal. Dogs must arrive on a leash.
