(ECS) The Nā Lima Hana Employment Core Services program provides employment preparation training, personalized case management services, tuition assistance for vocational training, and job placement for unemployed and underemployed individuals. Issues learners' permits, license renewals and converts out of state drivers' licenses. Administers road tests for all motor vehicle drivers' licenses. Offers voter registration to eligible licensees. Issues Hawaii State Identification Cards.

Malama Learning Center is a place in West Oahu that brings art, science, conservation and culture together to promote sustainable living throughout Hawaii. MLC strives to unify area schools, residents and businesses around a shared ethic of caring and conservation.

(Na Pono No Na 'Ohana) Na Pono No Na 'Ohana provides a comprehensive family education program at Blanche Pope Elementary School including Early Childhood Education, Parent Education, Parent and Children Together Time (PACT), and Adult Education.

Provides a fun and educational program for children and young adults to build character, to train in the responsibilities of participating citizenship, and to develop personal fitness. Promotes and encourages youth of all ages to participate in group and outdoor activities.

(Crime Stoppers) Provides law enforcement, criminal investigation and crime prevention. Investigates accidents and provides traffic control. Registers firearms. Accepts information on missing persons. HPD does not handle driver's licensing or motor vehicle registration, abandoned vehicles or safety inspections (these are provided by Department of Finance, Motor Vehicle & Licensing Division).

(After School Drop In) The Susannah Wesley Community Center After School Enrichment Program provides a safe, structured spaces where youth ages 7 years old -18 year old can build life skills, discover new interest, and form meaningful relationships with peers. Activities focus on personal growth, leadership, and academic achievement.

Prevents, detects, diagnoses, controls and eradicates livestock diseases in order to promote the health and economic well-being of the livestock industries in Hawaii. Surveillance for regulatory diseases is conducted routinely to identify diseases which constitute a threat to the State's livestock industries and public health. The Academy for Healthcare Innovation (AHI) Surgical Technologist Program combines theoretical knowledge with hands-on experience, preparing you to play a critical role in ensuring patient safety and the success of surgical procedures. You will also learn infection prevention protocols, ensuring the smooth operation of surgical departments and contributing to the highest standards of patient care. During the 40 week program, you will learn how to: -Prepare the operating room environment, ensuring a sterile field for surgical procedures -Handle surgical instruments -Assist surgeons during operations -Anticipate the needs of the surgical team

(LSV-H) Legal Services for Veterans (LSV) offers free legal aid to homeless, and at-risk United States Veterans. Legal Services provided under the LSV Program include: -Housing: Landlord-tenant issues, foreclosure -Family: Custody, child support, Temporary Restraining Orders (TRO’s) -Criminal Defense: Outstanding warrants, driver’s license issues -Matters symptomatic of homelessness

(FSS, Family Strengthening Service) This program helps families provide a safe home for their children, promote positive parenting, and prevent child abuse and neglect. Families receive free, short-term, home visiting services designed to provide support and help maintain and improve individual and family function by improving parenting skills. The program also provides information and linkages to community resources. Assists families that are referred to us by the Child Welfare Services. Strengthening the family's skills to help them provide a nurturing environment and connects them with community resources.

National Runaway Safeline provides a confidential, 24/7 crisis intervention for runaway and homeless youth and their families via phone, chat, email, text, and bulletin board. Referrals, conference calling with a parent upon youth's request, conflict mediation, and information hotline available. Free bus tickets home to family or shelter for qualified youth ages 12 years old - 21 years old for persons in the continential US. Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring and summer. Activities are geared for all ages, including classes in arts and crafts, Hawaiiana, games and sports, music, seasonal activities and crafts, and excursions. Provides assistance to individuals and families whose lives been disrupted by drugs and alcohol abuse. Do not offer treatment programs, but rely on bibilical guidance, prayer, bible studies, and an atmosphere of God's love to affect change in a person's life.

Provides rental subsidies (through the Housing Choice Voucher Program) to very low income families. Under the Housing Voucher Program, the maximum subsidy is primarily based on an applicable payment standard less 30% of the family's monthly adjusted income, but no less than $50; the family pays the balance of the rent. A family is responsible for securing a rental unit which meets program standard.
