The City and County of Honolulu provides 10 public refuse drop-off locations: 6 convenience centers, 3 transfer stations and 1 landfill, around the island for residents to dispose of their household rubbish. Residents may use any of these locations free of charge. Maintains sites for disposal of ordinary household refuse. Convenience centers are reserved for residential waste material only, commercial or business refuse (from tree trimmers, roofers, plumbers, small stores, farmers, etc.) is strictly prohibited. Our Cancer Rehabilitation Program (CRP) is a comprehensive program that provides outpatient rehabilitation to cancer patients and survivors. Whether newly diagnosed or finished with treatment, we can help decrease pain and enable individuals to safely and effectively regain independence. Our goal is to help patients love their life as they did before cancer. For those who want to increase their independence and fulfill rehab goals, the CRP may be the right path. Patients work with a team of cancer rehabilitation specialists, including physical therapists and exercise physiologists, to create a program tailored specifically towards improving quality of life.

(Pathway of Hope, Salvation Army Kauluwela Community Assistance Center) The Salvation Army Community Assistance Center provides financial assistance for rent and utilities, pending funding availability. The program also offers intensive case management services known as Pathway of Hope (POH). POH is for families who are ready to break the cycle of intergenerational poverty and move towards self-sufficiency.

(Homeless Shelter) Shelter facilities provide guests with hot showers, daily meals (3 meals a day), storage lockers, mail service, and access to services that include case management, healthcare, employment, and housing assistance.
