Hawaii Agricultural Foundation's program In the Fields brings learning to life with fully funded field trips that take students and teachers onto working farms across Hawaii. These experiences provide firsthand exposure to agriculture, connecting classroom lessons to the land, crops, and farmers who sustain our islands. By engaging directly with local agriculture, students build a stronger understanding of where food comes from and the importance of supporting Hawaii’s farmers.

The investigations office for Hawaii operates a hotline to report welfare fraud, people who have unreported income and other violations, for Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and general assitance program. Callers does not have to give their name. All reports are investigated.

(SHEG) A one time, not ongoing financial assistance for households who are homeless or at-risk for homelessness. Single, couples and families. Provides assistance with rent deposit, first month rent, past due rent, utilities when included with rent or if utility assistance prevents homelessness. Utility assistance for renters only. Utilities assistance to prevent the household from losing their housing or prevent homelessness.

(Food Pantry) Saint Theresa Catholic Church provides food pantry outreach for those who are low income or in need of food on the 4th Thursday per month 8:30 am - 10:00 am. During the holidays, the pantry will be available only on the 3rd Thursday of November and December 8:30 am - 10:00 am.

(Pu'uhonua) Provides comprehensive services for victims of domestic violence. Services include crisis counseling, legal service, police intervention, outreach, advocacy and lifeline phones. (Feed the Hunger Fund) Feed The Hunger Fund provides micro loans and networks of support. Feed The Hunger Fund provides loans to low income and underserved individuals with businesses in the food system and directly and in partnership with local organizations. We identify and partner with organizations that are already working with our target populations to add value to the organization's ability to help their community, to ensure that our borrowers have other support services to increase their success, and to build a network that addresses the community's fiscal and physical health. We create or identifies existing Food Hub Networks to ensure that our borrowers are linked into a food system of production - distribution points that ensure their sustainability and to promote a community's food security and economic vitality. Feed The Hunger Foundation makes loans to borrowers who have businesses anywhere within the food system.

Conducts a residential Christian program for men with alcohol/substance abuse and social adjustment problems. Program includes personal/group counseling,education, recreation, and work therapy to regain self-respect and living skills.

Administers the congregate meal program. Offers leisure activities, special events, educational sessions and support services at the congregate sites.
