(KIPC, Car Seat and Booster Seat Safety, CPS) Keiki Injury Prevention Coalition (KIPC) provides a network of Car Seat Inspection Stations, technicians, and instructors certified in caregiver education on correct child restraint use and installation. KIPC provides appointments at Inspection Stations and conducts car seat checks at community events on Oahu. KIPC also provides standardized certification training for new technicians, and updates for those currently certified.

Administers the Art in Public Places Program to purchase art works for public buildings and grounds. Administers the state and federal funding that supports culture, arts, historic programs and organizations. Manages and operates the Hawaii State Art Museum.

(YEP) The Young Entrepreneurs Program (YEP) gives middle and high school students the chance to experience what it takes to run a real business rooted in agriculture. From developing value-added products and building a brand to selling at farmers’ markets and online, students gain entrepreneurial skills while supporting Hawaii’s food system. (Kahoolawe Island Reserve Commission) The Kaho'olawe Island Reserve Commission (KIRC) was established by the Hawai'i State Legislature in 1993 to manage the Kaho'olawe Island Reserve while held in trust for a future Native Hawaiian sovereign entity. The KIRC has pledged to provide for the meaningful and safe use of Kaho'olawe for the purpose of the traditional and cultural practices of the native Hawaiian people and to undertake the restoration of the island and its waters. Its mission is to implement the vision for Kaho'olawe Island in which the kino (body) of Kaho'olawe is restored and na poe o Hawai'i (the people of Hawaii) care for the land.
