Operation Hero is an afterschool program that targets military children who have been identified by teachers, counselors, or parents as exhibiting low self-esteem, or who have difficulty adjusting, both academically and sociall t the school environment. Oftentimes, these difficulties can be attributed to frequent moves and family disruption due to deployments. The curriculum is designed to help children cope with the challenges of military life, provide tools to help them succeed in school, and assist them in developing a positive self-image while improving communication skills. This program promotes social responsibility through team-building activities and targets children.

Provides counseling help to 49 Rotary Clubs in Hawaii. Dedicated to improving the quality of life in the community through a variety of projects and programs both local and international. Areas of concern include the environment, the human condition, poverty, health care, literacy, and many regional and local issues. Manages lands held in trust for Hawaiians. Offers assistance in new home construction and home repair loans, homestead leases to qualified native Hawaiian applicants.

(Employees Retirement System - Liaison) Acts as liaison for Employee's Retirement System questions. Handles Health Fund assistance to State and County retirees. Acts as Employees' Retirement System counselor and liaison for all State or County employees and retirees.

Provides information on refuse collection, curbside recycling, dead animal pick-up, bulky item pick-up, and excess green waste disposal.
