Hawaii Energy and PHAD Home Appliances provide appliance replacement packages for residents that have been impacted by the 2026 storms.
Appliances include: Refrigerator with freezer, standalone freezer, clothes washer, and/or clothes dryer. Each appliance will cost between $250-$450 depending on size, with no minimum quantity and a maximum of one (1) of each appliance type per household.

Delivery and Payment
Oahu Residents
You may choose to have your appliance delivered to your home or picked up via will call at PHAD Home Appliance. On Oahu, PHAD will offer on-site installation. If your home is not site-ready for installation, appliances will be placed in the home and applicants will have to find a local resource to install their equipment.
Non-Oahu Residents
Hawaii Energy will be coordinating a central location on each island where appliances can be picked up. This location and date will be determined as orders come in. Mahalo for your patience as we work to coordinate shipping and drop-off to your islands. Please allow up to 45 days, depending on the delivery schedule. May take longer for Maui and Hawaii Counties.
Financial Assistance
Financial assistance may be available through organizations for households that are not able to afford the $250 co-pay. To learn more about available assistance, please contact each organization directly.

(Food Bank) Hawaii Foodbank operates two AIB-certified warehouses on Oahu and Kauai where we receive, inspect, sort, store and distribute food to our communities. Food is sourced from manufacturers, growers, retailers, wholesalers, Feeding America, individual and corporate food drives and federal commodities where our staff and volunteers prepare these items for safe and efficient distribution through our partnership of more than 200 agencies including food pantries, soup kitchens, homeless shelters, domestic abuse shelters and rehabilitation centers.
Food distribution is also through food pantries in local communities and the Ohana Produce Plus program, which provides fresh produce and assorted groceries to anyone in need while supplies last.
