(Ka Puuwai O Na Keiki, Enhanced Healthy Start, DHS Home Visiting Services) We are a team of Home Visitors that respond to referrals from CWS for Maui County and also FSS and VCM for the island of Maui, and then offer screening for risk factors, assessments, treatment planning and service delivery to reach goals of reunification, parenting skills, support, resources and referrals. Each family referred to our team will be getting visits from a Registered Nurse to identify any developmental challenges and help with health needs. She is also a lactation specialist. They will also receive visits from a Clinical Supervisor for assistance in life with things like addiction, domestic violence and mental health. And each family will be assigned a Family Support Worker who will offer Nurturing Parenting lessons and offering support in an effort to identify and decrease risk factors as well as increasing protective factors. Ka Pu'uwai O Na Keiki never has a waitlist but is specifically referral only for parents and foster parents with a child between the ages of 0 to 3. Accepts collect calls.

(Domestic Violence Advocacy) Families who are enrolled in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Temporary Assistance to Other Needy Families (more commonly known as “welfare”), are required to be engaged in activities that will ultimately lead them to self-sufficiency. Program recipients for whom issues of safety and domestic violence are interfering with their progress can call upon Domestic Violence Advocacy to help them find support to change their situations. Services include: assessment, service planning, counseling services, case management and linkage and referral.

Maintains information resources, i.e. books, magazines, musical recordings, video and audio tapes, State and County government documents and Hawaiiana materials. Provides fax service to send messages to State legislators. Provides access to wi-fi and telephone reference service.

(RYSE) RYSE offers a 24 hour access center for homeless youth ages 14-24 to have a safe place to sleep, assistance with resources for education and employment opportunities, street outreach, basic need services such as a hot shower, clothing, and a hot meal.

Molokai Baptist Church is an independent Baptist Church. We have an emergency food pantry and limited supply of clothing. We have a variety of fellowship opportunities which include Women's Bible Study, Men's Bible Study, Youth Bible Study, Awana, Young Life, Summer Vacation Bible School, Summer Youth Camp.

Provides a comprehensive recreational program in the community. Facilities include a multi-purpose building, a gymnasium, a swimming pool, and a field. There are three program periods throughout the year: Fall, spring, and summer. The Army Community Services's Mobilization, Deployment and Stability Support Operations program helps support community readiness during deployments and emergencies. Helps make sure installation programs align with unit deployment cycles, provide pre- and post-deployment support, and help unit commanders with their family readiness plans and deployment support services for service members and their families. Responsible for operating an Emergency Family Assistance Center in the case of an all-hazards event, and supporting service members and families during Non-Combatant Evacuation Operations (NEO) and Repatriation. Acts as a case manager for all requests for assistance through the Army Disaster Personnel Accountability and Assessment System (ADPAAS).

Youth Services groups are offered in both East and West Hawaii to both boys and girls ages 12-17 who are deemed perpetrators of harm. The focus of this group is to offer tools for reducing impulsive behaviors, improving self esteem and increasing the level of social competence as well as addressing the dynamics of adolescent victimization. The Youth Service groups are 20 weeks long and group is once per week; however, times and days of group may vary by location.
