The CDC National Prevention Information Network (NPIN) is the U.S. reference and referral service for information on HIV/AIDS, viral hepatitis, sexually transmitted diseases (STDs), and tuberculosis (TB). NPIN is a next-generation clearinghouse that collects and disseminates data and materials to support the work of prevention organizations and workers in international, national, state, and local settings. Our services are designed to facilitate program collaboration in sharing information, resources, published materials, research, and trends among the four diseases.

Parent Participation Preschool is a three-phased program for parents to assist in their child's transition from home to school. The children progress through the program based on their development and mastered skills, not age. -Pueo (Phase 1): Children are introduced to a more structured learning environment. It focuses on colors, shapes and letter recognition. The class meets twice a week for 2 hours. It requires parents' 100% participation. -Honu (Phase 2): Children entering Honu have some basic, fundamental preschool abilities and are inspired to work independently, explore academics, use their creativity, and learn the importance of a daily routine. Honu focuses on phonics, basic math skills and writing. The class meets three times a week for 3 hours. Spill The Tea Cafe (STTC) offers a range of services, including individual and group therapy, mentorship, care coordination, and psychoeducation, to address the specific needs and preferences of each teen. We also extend our support to families and caregivers, providing community resources and referrals to help them navigate the challenges of mental health, and achieve lasting recovery and resilience for their youth. Our goal is to promote the mental health and well-being of adolescents and to help our keiki shine.

(Women Infants and Children Nutrition Program) The Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants and Children (WIC), is a federally funded program which provides Hawaii residents with nourishing supplemental foods, nutrition education, breastfeeding promotion and health and social service referrals. The participants of WIC are either pregnant, breastfeeding, or postpartum women, and infants and children under age five who meet income guidelines and have a medical or nutritional risk. Nutrition and Health Education: WIC will answer your questions about what to eat for a healthy pregnancy and help you plan family meals and snacks. Education and support for moms who breastfeed: WIC has specially trained staff to answer your breastfeeding questions. Ask for more information about our breast pump loan program. The Manoa Heritage Center is committed to preserving and interpreting the heiau, the Native Hawaiian garden, the historic home and the natural and cultural history of Manoa Valley for future generations. Volunteer opportunities to lead tours through botanical gardens that surround the historic home and ancient heiau. Adult tours and school tours are available, call for reservations and more information.

(Domestic Abuse Shelters and Transitional Apartments - Oahu) Domestic Abuse Shelters provide a safe haven for those fleeing domestic violence. Program accepts abused partners and their children. A 24 hour hotline is available for referrals and resource information. The Domestic Abuse Shelters (DAS) offers up to 120 days of a safe haven, basic needs (food, clothing etc.), counseling and services for children. Program participants learn dynamics of domestic violence, develop safety plans, improve self-esteem and learn healthy parenting skills. Children develop safety plans and learn they’re not responsible for domestic violence. The shelters offer: -Domestic violence crisis hotline -Lodging and food -Crisis counseling -Individual counseling -Educational workshops -Support groups -Information, referral & advocacy -Children's program -Assistance with obtaining a TRO, Housing and financial aid -Volunteer program

Species include monk seals, sea turtles, whales. Documents ocean and river water pollution incidents such as oil and chemical spills. The Molokai Community Service Council (MCSC) is a multi-purpose non-profit organization that provides direct services to youth and families as well as facilities for economic development.
