Narcotics Enforcement Division

We register and investigate all violations of persons who administer, prescribe, manufacture or dispense controlled substances in the State, including those who work at methadone clinics. The Division is also responsible for Hawaii’s Electronic Prescription Accountability System (e-Pass) which monitor’s all Schedule II through V controlled substance prescriptions filled in the State of Hawaii.

Missing Child Center Hawaii

Assists in the location and recovery of missing children. Connected to 49 mainland state clearinghouses as well as the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Traces children and their abductors through connection with these databases and other public records as well as coordination with the efforts of the FBI and police departments of all states. Child Protective Services, Interpol, the U.S. Department of State and countries who are signatories to the Hague Convention. The police should always be notified first in the event that a parent suspects a child has been abducted. Accepts volunteers to assist with basic administrative assistance, special events and graphic designing.

Community Teen Program - KPT - Elementary

The Community Teen Program provides Out-of-school Time services (OST) for youth ages 5-18 who live in and around the public housing complex Kuhio Park Terrace in Kalihi. This programs promote the development of healthy youth with an abundance of positive experiences for youth including educational, recreational, skill building, social emotional learning, community building and support services. Opens at 1:30pm on Wednesdays during the school year. Extended hours offered during summer and school intersessions. Intake form is good for 1 year.

(808 No Vape) 808NOVAPE is a vaping prevention campaign currently providing presentations for elementary, middle and high school students. Typically, the presentations are done for health classes, but we have done several all school assemblies or covered entire grades. We also provide presentations for parents and teachers as well as college students and other community groups seeking to raise awareness around this issue. We can also do presentations for a parents night or a school staff training. The presentation is conducted via Powerpoint and is scalable from a 30 minute presentation up to a full hour including Question and Answer (Q & A), and usually requires a projector and screen, or large TV. Presentations can also be planned virtually via Zoom, Webex or Google Classroom. Contact us on the website's "Contact Us for a Presentation" button today if your school or community is in need of some prevention education around vaping and the use of e-cigarettes.

Our Kupuna Volunteers

(Hawaii VA Foundation) Community volunteers shops for and deliver groceries, medication and necessary supplies to the kupuna's home every 2 weeks. The kupuna pays for the groceries that the volunteer delivers. The volunteer does not enter the kupuna's home. Inquire about other islands in the service area.

A yearly re-certification application is required to be completed, signed, and mailed back before the re-certification deadline.
