(Na Pono No Na 'Ohana) Na Pono No Na 'Ohana provides a comprehensive family education program at Blanche Pope Elementary School including Early Childhood Education, Parent Education, Parent and Children Together Time (PACT), and Adult Education.

(Emergency and Transitional Housing Programs) HOPE emergency shelter programs provide shelter for families and individuals that are homeless or at imminent risk of becoming homeless. Services include intake/assessment, case management, referrals/linkages to community resources, access to bed space, storage, meals, laundry, food pantry and clothing bank. On-site life skills classes also provided. Referrals by County's Coordinated Entry System (CES) only.

(Healthy Families America Lana'i) Home Visiting program for families who are prenatal or have a newborn in Maui County. We provide a variety of support including resource information, parenting information, child development information and community connection. Virtual services are available.

Works with children of West Hawaii who have been traumatized by sexual assault, physical abuse or neglect, or who are witnesses to violent crime. Goal is to "help a victim become a child again."

To create one, file a complaint with the FTC and print your Identity Theft Affidavit. Use that to file a police report and create your Identity Theft Report. An Identity Theft Report will help you deal with credit reporting companies, debt collectors, and businesses that gave the identity thief credit or opened new accounts in your name. You can use the Report to: -get fraudulent information removed from your credit report -stop a company from collecting debts that result from identity theft, or from selling the debt to another company for collection -place an extended fraud alert on your credit report -get information from companies about accounts the identity thief opened or misused

(K9 Kokua) K9 Kokua provides direct outreach to dogs of the houseless on Oahu and Maui, persons affected by domestic violence, including kupuna and veterans facing hardship. Services include veterian care resources, wellness checks for dogs, owner education, assistance through housing transitions. Fostering available for person affected by dometic violence. K9 Kokua is an all volunteer agency. Volunteers are accepted for everything from writing thank you cards to direct outreach services.

(Hale Ho'omalu - Maui, Hale Hoomalu) Transitional group housing is provided 24 hours a day, on-site and on-call. CARF accredited.

(TANF/VR First To Work Program) The program provides job training, placement, and case management services for individuals receiving TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families).

(Domestic Violence Advocacy) Families who are enrolled in Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) or Temporary Assistance to Other Needy Families (more commonly known as “welfare”), are required to be engaged in activities that will ultimately lead them to self-sufficiency. Program recipients for whom issues of safety and domestic violence are interfering with their progress can call upon Domestic Violence Advocacy to help them find support to change their situations. Services include: assessment, service planning, counseling services, case management and linkage and referral.

Provides counseling, advocacy, representation on behalf of veterans, their families, dependents to secure rights or benefits. Receives, investigates, and resolves disputes and complaints. Assesses client information and circumstances to determine need and/or eligibility for services and benefits. Provides burial assistance benefits including burial, burial allowance, plot or internment allowance, headstone or grave marker, burial flags, presidential memorial certificate, dependency and indemnity compensation and other benefits. Provides escort services including accompanying and personally assisting a client to obtain service. Provides letter writing, letter reading, records repository, notary public, recordation of forms. Will file original documents, specifically DD-214s or equivalent, for clients.

(Ohana Energy Gift Program) The Hawaiian Electric Company Ohana Energy Gift Program allows customers of Hawaiian Electric to make payments toward a designated recipient's electric account. The recipient will receive an acknowledgement letter once the gift amount has been applied to his or her account. Gift givers will receive a confirmation letter once the designated recipient's account information has been verified and the gift amount has been applied. Ohana Energy Gifts are not tax deductible donations. The gifts may be anonymous, or the gift giver may choose to also send a special acknowledgement card with a personalized message. If a recipient is not designated, the energy gift will be given to individuals and families in need. Visit the website to download and print out the Ohana Energy Gift Form. Army Community Service's New Parent Support program is a professional team of nurses and social workers who provide free non clinical parenting support and education to army families who are expecting or have at least one child birth - 3 years of age. Services include home visiting, office visits, play groups, referrals, resources and classes/events.
