Feed The Hunger Fund provides loans to low income and underserved individuals with businesses in the food system and directly and in partnership with local organizations. We identify and partner with organizations that are already working with our target populations to add value to the organization's ability to help their community, to ensure that our borrowers have other support services to increase their success, and to build a network that addresses the community's fiscal and physical health. We create or identifies existing Food Hub Networks to ensure that our borrowers are linked into a food system of production - distribution points that ensure their sustainability and to promote a community's food security and economic vitality. Feed The Hunger Foundation makes loans to borrowers who have businesses anywhere within the food system.

(MEO) Works with people who have bad credit, no credit, low-income, and no measurable assets to provide assistance and guidance in the loan application process through loan approval from our Internal and External Loan Committees. Small business loans range from $500 to $10,000 to be used for startup operations or the expansion of an existing small business. Step loans are available after six months of on-time payments. A borrower can seek an additional $25,000 for expansion. Emergency loans ranging from $200 to $2000 are also available.

Dreams help remind children in crisis that they are special and loved. Dream Imua, formerly A Keiki’s Dream, grants child-directed dreams to children 4-16 years old in crisis of any nature, such as abuse, neglect, homelessness or a major medical issues. This child-directed approach not only offers a reprieve from suffering, but validates the child’s self-worth, sending positive messages of support and encouragement, reminding the child what it is to have hope. This important program began in 1990 and became part of Imua Family Services in 2015. Over the last 30 years, the program has filled nearly 1,500 dreams from turning little girls into princesses and little boys into superheroes. The program offers children a chance to escape their difficult lives through helicopter rides, zip-lining, music lessons, horseback riding and more. Dream Imua relies on community support and involvement to help make these dreams a reality for those in need.

The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. Hawaii Agricultural Foundation provides teacher trainings. Teacher trainings for Tower Power are now active in 24 schools statewide. The program is now expanding to Hawaii Island. Tower Power gives students a hands-on, ag-tech and vertical farming lab-based experience using indoor aeroponic towers to grow and care for plants from seed to harvest in grade 6-8 classrooms. Through four dynamic learning units, students explore plant science, sustainability, and the future of farming while discovering how vertical growing systems can transform food production. The program includes a comprehensive teacher resource manual, ready-to-use classroom materials, and monthly virtual check-ins that cover timely topics, address teacher interests, and foster collaboration and idea-sharing among educators.
