Aukukui | Niuolahiki Online Hawaiian Language Courses ‘Aha Pūnana Leo expanded its flexible, online program to offer teachers across the state, an opportunity to receive HME teacher certifications and meet early childhood education requirements. The Niuolahiki Distance Learning Program extends its culturally rooted language program throughout the world. Hale Kipa ʻŌiwi ‘Aha Pūnana Leo has become a nationally recognized model for Native American language revitalization, and a resource for indigenous groups interested in reviving and perpetuating their traditional languages by providing assistance to develop language and cultural revitalization programs.
