(Teenlink Hawaii) TeenLink Hawaii (TLH) is a youth-focused program promoting positive youth development through peer leadership and support, access to relevant information and resources, and connection to a caring network. (Kahoolawe Island Reserve Commission) The Kaho'olawe Island Reserve Commission (KIRC) was established by the Hawai'i State Legislature in 1993 to manage the Kaho'olawe Island Reserve while held in trust for a future Native Hawaiian sovereign entity. The KIRC has pledged to provide for the meaningful and safe use of Kaho'olawe for the purpose of the traditional and cultural practices of the native Hawaiian people and to undertake the restoration of the island and its waters. (West Hawaii Processing Center - Ka'u) The federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) provides crucial food and nutritional support to qualifying low-income and needy households, and those making the transition from welfare to self-sufficiency. The SNAP processing center provides public assistance, food stamps (SNAP) and financial assistance, to eligible individuals and families. They handle new applications and ongoing assistance. A paper copy of the application can be downloaded, printed, signed and submitted via US postal mail or dropped off in the drop box. (SSG Fox SPGP) SSG Fox Suicide Prevention Grant Program (SSG Fox SPGP) is designed to assist service members, veterans and service-connected family members with resources through outreach, suicide prevention services, and connection to VA and community resources. A comprehensive range of services includes individualized, compassionate case management; assistance with transportation, shelter, and childcare; access to mental health and substance abuse treatment options; help with navigating healthcare choices; and housing placements services. Additionally, the SPGP offers financial literacy education, referrals for legal assistance, peer specialist support, and resource navigation.

(Hawaii Relief Program) Vibrant Hawaii is helping people to complete the Hawaii Relief Program applications. Eligible applicants may receive up to four months of financial assistance, including: -Up to 4 months of rent or mortgage (up to $6,000 per month) -One time security deposit (actual housing deposit amount up to the maximum of $6,000) -Up to 4 months of utility assistance ($2,000 per month per utility source) -One time Utility deposit (up to $3,000 per utility source). (Monkeypox, Disease Outbreak Control Division - Monkeypox) Mpox (Monkeypox) is a contagious disease caused by the mpox virus. There is currently an outbreak of mpox in the U.S. and other countries where the virus is not usually seen. The current mpox situation is evolving quickly and is subject to change. Mpox (Monkeypox) risk in Hawaii: Department of Health (DOH) is closely monitoring mpox transmission in the United States and Hawaii. Based on the current information available, the risk to most Hawaiʻi residents remains low. Anyone who had direct skin to skin or prolonged close contact with someone with mpox is at risk of infection— regardless of who they are, what they do, or if they are sexually active. Infection begins with flu-like symptoms such as fever, headache, muscle aches, chills, exhaustion, and swollen lymph nodes. Infection progresses to a rash or sores, often on the hands, feet, chest, face, or genitals. Individuals generally become ill within 21 days of exposure.
