Prevents, detects, diagnoses, controls and eradicates livestock diseases in order to promote the health and economic well-being of the livestock industries in Hawaii. Surveillance for regulatory diseases is conducted routinely to identify diseases which constitute a threat to the State's livestock industries and public health. The Medical Reserve Corps in Hawaii is an all volunteer group with many different skill sets. The Hawaii MRC needs volunteers who have medical and non-medical backgrounds who want to serve their local communities during public health emergencies or large scale emergency response events.

(MEO) Works with people who have bad credit, no credit, low-income, and no measurable assets to provide assistance and guidance in the loan application process through loan approval from our Internal and External Loan Committees. Small business loans range from $500 to $10,000 to be used for startup operations or the expansion of an existing small business. Step loans are available after six months of on-time payments. A borrower can seek an additional $25,000 for expansion. Emergency loans ranging from $200 to $2000 are also available.
