(Family Center and Immigrant Resource Center, Family and Economic Opportunity Center, C-BASED program, Competency-BASED Community School Diploma Program, Competency BASED Community School Diploma Program) The Economic Opportunity Center (EOC) provides workforce development, job readiness training, and financial literacy training for families and individuals who are underemployed or unemployed. EOC helps clients develop their potential, provides technical assistance, and assists in removing personal barriers to employment through one-on-one coaching. EOC partners with local employers to provide pipelines to employment for underserved workers.

Works to improve and maintain individual and community health. Addresses the following key areas: healthy community development (coalition development, community health organization, community strategic planning, facilitation, assisting grant writing, needs assessment, evaluation methodology in community health), risk reduction (includes tobacco prevention/education, physical activity promotion, chronic dieases, and injury prevention and control). Conducts community and professional education and training in public health education practices, methodology, and principles. Provides consultation and technical assistance in public health education. Provides specialized training in child passenger safety (certified technician and instructor).

Kaumualii Street Market is a low cost market where farmers sell fresh produce, baked goods, and fish directly to the public. Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) and Senior Farmers' Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP) voucher are accepted.

(MEO) Provides discounts on food and merchandise to people over 60 years of age.

(Food Pantry) Dynamic Compassion in Action distributes food boxes to persons in need and persons with low-income. Clothing and household goods are distributed at the same site and during same food pantry hours. Volunteers are accepted, but please call first. We accept donations of clean and gently used small household items and clothing. The food distribution is normally a drive through. For persons who walk in please bring a bag, box or wagon. This is an Ohana Produce Plus Distribution and Senior Food Box Program, Commodity Supplemental Food Program (CSFP), a one a month, federal program helping low-income kupuna.

(Mothers Milk) Hawaii Mothers' Milk, Inc. (HMMI) is a comprehensive breastfeeding resource center, for both families and health professionals in the State of Hawaii. HMMI provides services to new mothers statewide through our telephone warmline, individualized breastfeeding counseling, rentals and sales of hospital grade and/or home purchase breast pumps and supplies. Seeking volunteers to assist with clerical and other nonpatient duties. Donations accepted. This program offers lactation counseling and breastfeeding support, breast pump rentals, and breast pump sales.

Provides at risk teens development and education assistance. Please call for orientation appointments: A parent or legal guardian must be present with the teen at the orientation. More information about the program will be given during orientation, or check the website for more information.

The Employment Readiness Program offers information and referral services as well as assistance in the areas of employment, and training. Services include hiring events, career counseling and goal setting, employment and education information, classes on resume writing (federal and private sector), interviewing, building a LinkedIn profile, and conducting a job search.

Chamber Music Hawaii's concert series spans from September through May of each year, showcasing our resident chamber ensembles in premiere concert venues on Oahu. Each season features monthly programs performed in Honolulu and on the Windward side of Oahu. Our season subscription series concerts are free for all students with a valid school ID.

Hospice is a holistic philosophy of patient centered care. The hospice program of care focuses on the whole person-body, mind, and spirit. Hospice recognizes that a patient who is dealing with the end of life seeks and deserves comfort in every aspect of his/her life. Hospice care is provided through an Interdisciplinary Team (IDT) consisting of a physician, nurses, nure-aides, social workers, spiritual counselors, nutritional and other therapists and specially trained patient-care volunteers who offer support through the challenges of living with a terminal illness to the patient and family seven days a week, 24 hours a day.

(Family Peace Center - Maui) Maui Family Peace Center teaches non-violent problem-solving skills for families struggling with adult aggression and behavioral dysfunction, emphasizing partnership, equality, and respect among families. Support for survivors/victims and child witnesses of domestic violence that includes individual and group counseling, case management, parental classes, community referrals and legal system advocacy. Support for offenders includes violence intervention groups. Adolescent services provided free of charge for those in need of effective problem solving skills to manage anger and/or those exhibiting violent behavior and anger control issues; anyone can refer themselves or a family member. Community education and training for schools, community groups, and agencies available.

EPIC Ohana, Inc. transforms the culture of child welfare practice through a respectful, collaborative, solution-oriented process that protects children, strengthens families, and enhances the health of the community. Organizes and facilitates Ohana Conferences, Youth Circles, Ohana Finding and Ohana Connections.

The HBF, founded in 1991, is a national nonprofit organization dedicated solely to those affected by hepatitis B. The foundation accomplishes its work with a dedicated staff of researchers, educators, and outreach experts working with physicians, scientists, academic institutions, corporations, governmental agencies, and others to raise awareness and search for a cure to hepatitis B.

(Hospice Hawaii) Navian Hawaii is comprised of an interdisciplinary team of professionals and trained volunteers who meet the physical, emotional, psychosocial, and spiritual needs of patients and families in the comfort of their own homes as well as in other settings like its Kailua Home, nursing homes and other facilities. The non-profit organization offers Integrated Care for those with serious but treatable illnesses, and Hospice Care for those near their journey’s end, providing assistance with pain management and symptom control. Navian Hawaii provides caregiver support, grief counseling, and complementary therapies including art, aroma, massage, healing touch, and reiki. Navian Hawaii has offices on Oahu, Molokai and Lanai and accepts referrals 24 hours, 7 days a week.

(HEAL, Healthy Eating + Active Living Coalitions - Heal) Hawaii Public Health Institute works to improve health behaviors and reduce chronic disease through policy, systems, and environmental changes.
